"Ow, FUCK!" Jim swings his blade down and slices them off. He jumps in and yanks the strands out. He examines the wounds. "Damn that hurt. No serious damage, though." He begins firing his gun blade as accuratley as possible at the strands, actually hitting quite a few When the thing bursts into gas. Jim begins aiming for the outline of the head.

Smoke rises from Jim, and the creature levitates upward before materializing, shifting colors, and exploding, leaving everyone covered in multicolored demon-spider ichor.
