I believe the Land of Remembrance is the land the Elven Refugees took place in, It make sense, sort of-why else would Elves destroy all the magic, if not for their destruction by the Humans?

Given that Elven Refugees took place in year 500ish, if I remember right, thats about 500 years before the 990, when the magic died...the timelines and lore can fit! Cameos for everyone!
