For Glory and Adamantine
The Story of Steelbeard

The Focus
The focus of this succession game is to create a dwarven epic that many will want to read long after the last inhabitant of the fortress takes his/her last breath. For this reason, it is recommended that those who wish to join are proficient at writing.

The Rules
Turns are from 1 Granite to 1 Granite. When your turn is over, upload your zip to DFFD and PM both me and the next person in line. There is a 24-hour period to start your turn, otherwise you will be skipped. If you feel like you cannot proceed any further, pass along the save as usual, and the next player will do the remainder of the turn plus his/her own year.

The Embark

The Player List
Yellow indicates in progress, green indicates a completed turn, and struck over means that player was skipped.

I'll take a turn. I'll claim a dwarf later, once I see where the embark is and what's available.

OK, the embark site pic is up. Here's what I'm planning for on embark:

2 miners
1 mason
1 craftsdwarf
1 trader
1 farmer
1 carpenter

I'll take the trader. Give him novice or adequate axedwarf too, if you have spare points left.

I'll be a miner under the name of Tobul. Don't want to be a leader right now; may change my mind.
