Adventure mode container

I accidentally sold my bag to a merchant, how do I reassign a new bag so I can put things in it? Sucks not being able to loot coins from lairs because I have nothing to put them in.

You need to have a backpack, then you (w)ear it. Sometimes you can find them as loot, or just trade for one at a shop.
 
I usually play as an outsider spearman, and you start naked. Obtaining a backpack is usually pretty easy. If your world has no human towns, you may be hooped.

I was trying to wear other types of containers, thank you.
