This is getting more thoughts than I expected.
@various posts; I vote nay at fire-breathing black metalheads. They could create unwanted FUN with the fire. Also glam rock would be goblins. As I said goblins are all wannabe metal. Elves are pop/techno/rap/etc. , humans are rock and subgenres.
 No idea for kobolds yet.
Hardcore punk kobolds? They defy the law.

Edit: Also, no progressive metalhead buff. I'm one too (Gojira, Meshuggah, Opeth), but I'm trying to make everyone balanced. x2 learning speed is already a huge advantage.

Edit: To keep work calculated, OP will include who is working on what.

I plan to make Technovikings (humans 2) after the metal dwarves. Any suggestions?

Also, I think prog dwarves still need buffs. They don't have physical buffs anyway.

They're not fighters.

I know. But considering that the power dwarves have a strength buff, and the doomies have good endurance, isn't it a bit unfair?

EDIT: Decide some POP_RATIOS for the dwarves, as I'm having a hard time balancing.

But they don't have x2 learnspeed. It's fair.

 Also

Heavium is created from metahl (basically iron, very common) and brutalium (metal also used to create speedmetal from thrashmetal and gorium from deathmetal. Useless by itself.). It is sharp as steel and heavy as lead.

I think I'll be making Mourning trees later. Don't ask what happens if you cut it.

Also, try making "artifact weapons" based on real life instruments like the Fender set of electric guitars.
And just for pun, make a new pick called 'rock guitar'.

And I'll just make prog dwarves priests for the artifacts. Anyone else using the altar will die of horrible necrosis.

Also, what do I add to those black metal dwarves for special abilities?

[NO_PAIN], but no breath attacks or something.

Also, already added guitars (obvious choice).

Now, what do you suggest about doom metal dwarves? What tags should I add if you've something in mind?

Make them depressive all the time (Deon did that somehow) but have good endurance.

Should I modify the height of the posers? Having goblin sized emos run around just sounds a bit silly.
