Continue harvesting wood with the axemen. Foragers are to find some tree seeds, growing our own lumer will be beneficial. Archers go hunting. Laborers are to continue building. I go and see what the fuss is about some forest-y bint.

Should I keep my camp as an ancillary outpost or pull up stakes and head toward you guys?  I think I'm sitting on a stone mine.  In fact...

"Right boys, listen up.  Wood's a bit iffy here, but there's stone everywhere.  Let's get some good solid stone so we can make some good solid stone buildings.  I want all you builders to get us a stone mine!  Farmers, go out and find some animals to herd.  Herding, farming, same thing as far as I am concerned.  Everyone else, you know the drill."

All builders build a stone quarry
Farmers find some herd animals to domesticate/husband
Woodcutters get wood
Miners get stone

Adwarf: where do you want to travel to?
Toaster: Do we know about each other's existence already?

MOAR fields! We need MOAR! How are we supposed to feed all those peoples?
3 farmers will take care of the wheat and lentils fields, 2 will work the Garden. 9 will works the fallow fields, sowing two with wheat and turning the other one into a garden. The last 3 will gather dung from all around the camps (my beast and the other's) for fertilizer. The landscapers will do another field.

I'm assuming so, since our maps are connected.  Even if not, my orders aren't involving you.

I would suggest Toaster stay where he is and brcome your guy's stone mining city. If he findsmetql under all that stone you could turn the city into the mining and smelting center. Take all of that witha grain of salt as I am not playing.

I actually see that as a decent idea.  I'm in a crappy food spot, so if you kept me fed, I'd send my builders down and get you all set up with housing, storage, all that good stuff, while collecting the stone myself.

Sound good. Although you may want to move over here yourself, keeping your current outpost as a mining colony souds like a great idea.

I wish to travel to the edge of the forest where the river runs into the lake since that would be a really good spot for fishing, and I could use the river as a waterway to trade with you guys. Also how do we get more people, or are we stuck with these that we started with.

I know, but building there allows me to use my fisherman, and then I can get a supply of food in, and I have always planned on moving to a different location than you guys, and building a town.

I don't think it's that far to the river.  You could just set up a fisherman's shack for your fishers.

How wide/deep is the river anyway?  Can we ford it, or get boats going?

Well, I still think the idea of a town with outpost seems the best. And my field shall provide food aplenty for anyone willing to join us.

Ya, but this will also allow me to build boats, and use them to scout the areas around the lake, and up the river. (I Also plan to build my city in the middle of the lake, but that will take time, and lots of wood which is dangerous to get. )
