If something surprised you when you read for the first time, then it is probably a spoiler. Violating that will incur the wrath of the laws of nature, which means your best/most crucial roll next turn may be exchanged with a 1. Feel free to put in jokes, though.
1. This is a RTD game, so I do not expect too much seriousness. Nevertheless, please keep within civility, and metagaming is forbidden.
2. Your skills are merely a measure of how proficient you are capable of doing something. Outcome of actions is usually determined by a 1d6, except: 1. it is too trivial 2. It contradicts canon.
3. 1 is always critical failure; 6 is always critical success and up to eleven. 2-5 is sliding, from total failure to total success.
4. Only 5 or 6s will lead to skill changes, decided again by a 1d6.
5. Unlisted skills can be used and a treated as a L0, as magical girls surpasses the laws of nature. However, you do not really know how to use them, so even something trivial to a L1 have to be rolled.

As a magical girl, you should fight witches. Witches are usually shy, so they usually do not materialize themselves in this world, and live within a boundary. However they may leave marks on people to draw them into their boundaries to kill them, which leads to mysterious disappearances in this world.
If a witch is killed, they will leave a grief seed. They may or may not be full, so you can transfer some of your darkness in your soul gem into it. They are usually dormant, but if left alone for too long, it might go into activity and rehatch into a witch. Kyubey is happy to consume them, but only when they are inactive.
There are also familiars, which are the minions of a witch. familiars range from weak ones which are confined in the boundaries, or strong ones which can have its own boundary. If left alone for too long, they might mature into witches.
As a magical girl, you got a soul gem. The soul gem is needed for you to perform any magical functions, including transformations. It also include finding witches/familiars, akin to a hot and cold game.
You moved to this town, S . Kyubey told that you are needed here, because of a high density of witches. You made up an excuse, and started life here. You may be a transfer student, expanding a gang, or whatever. You are told that there are other magical girls around, which might give you a chance of cooperation or competition. you do not know each other, yet.
It is now evening is 16th April (Fri). You are told that witches lurk around at night. So you decided to look around...
