Wow, that wasn't even a battle, that was a slaughter! XD Did you see their horsemen suicide themselves against our Warriors? Damn, those guys are amazing! What a stroke of luck you were able to hire them, you really didn't even need the rest of the army.
Speaking of which though, I noted a few things there. First of all, can archers shot over the walls that the enemy had, and other obstacles like that? If so we should move our archers forward to shoot over stuff while being protected from counterattack. Likewise I noticed you failed at building a fence 4 times in that battle. I think you're being too defensive, but admittedly you used the quick moving units to wipe them out so fast I don't think the slow moving units would have been able to do anything. XD
I approve of using the new providence view, it makes it easy to compare the different providence. Just make sure you have another screenshot with the map somewhere in the post so we know where the numbers are referencing.
You made the right choice releasing Ander when he wouldn't join up. We should try to recruit as many Lords as possible and that includes using Negotiation->Defection if you think it will work.
But with Pluvius now we stand a fighting chance! Can we use Pluvius right away, or do we have to wait for him to recover? Also the warriors are so powerful but also very expensive. What's the status of the territories around us? Is it possible to take over one or two more before we have to pay the warriors again?
For domestic concerns Breadbocks is smart, putting Sarthe in the back is probably a good idea seeing how low his stats are. Garth's stats are low compared to the other families, but he's the best we got. As a side note if we want to improve those stats that's what the Search items do.
We have two routes we can go, if you think we're strong enough or want to get the most out of the warriors we could take another easily defended territory like 1, or we can focus domestically with cultivation and giving food to raise loyalty. Ideally we want all of our territories above 0 loyalty by next September. Since we don't have to worry about the Loyalty on Lisle we should just focus on Cultivating and sending food to the frontlines (along with money and troops if we have the opportunity).
One of my biggest concerns is how big Lankshire is becoming. They might wipe out Coryll soon and then have 3 gems, not to mention a huge territory advantage. We want to make sure #9 is Molbrew's last territory so we can grab their gem, so hopefully Lankshire will attack them at 13 and 14. I think our strategy should be to wait for Lankshire to attack someone else and use up their Dragon, then quickly take over 1 or 2 of their territories.
Looking at the numbers on the screenshot 2 is a very wealthy providence! We sapped most of the soldiers from 7 in the attack, so we should send back enough so that you're sure you can defend Norwood. Lisle can keep supporting it by sending more stuff but we have to make sure we don't lose it.
Final Recommendations1. Sarthe to govern Lisle. Just like breadbocks said.
2. Make sure Norwood (7) has enough troops for a solid defense, move back from 2 if necessary.3. Use 2's vast resources to reinforce our army with more troops.Otherwise since you really dominated the last battle I'm excited to see our empire expand more, but that was against a very weakened Lyle. If you feel up to attacking more Providence 1 can only be attacked by 3 so it will be easy to defend, otherwise we really have to looking into cutting up Lankshire's territory (or at least plundering the hell out of them). We want our enemies divided against each other, we don't want Lankshire to take over the rest of the continent and then come after us.
I'm having a lot of fun with this! After seeing how close the last battle was, I was amazed you could get Warriors and completely win this one. I think that turned the whole game around!
