They probably should have their own topic, but I'd count them as MMOs too, because they are still relatively massive, multiplayer, and online when you look at ones like Medievia or HellMOO.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Alliance of Valiant arms isn't that fun. The good items you can still spend the normal in game cash on, but you only get it for a few day's, while you can get them forever with real money. The items that you pay real money for are over powered, for example a gun that has no recoil and a fast fire rate. I don't suggest this game unless you want to spend alot of money on it, otherwise get a better fps like Counter Strike.

Why is it that the only MMOs I like

1) Have no real or major limitations on non-paying players and
2) ARE RIDICULOUSLY GRINDY?

A lot of people hate grindy MMOs. I feel like I should hate them too. But when I play an MMO, I always play one that has unrealistic grind, with items or skills or levels or whatever it is.

In that leiu, Nodiatis is a F2P Java MMO that I come back to sometimes. It is grinding distilled into it's purest essence... but for me, it's a lot of fun.

Kingdom of Loathing is also quite grindy in terms of items, but my whole reason for playing it is the hilarious descriptions and general humor so ignore this kthx.

Your avatar reminds me of KoL, actually. :P I used to play it a lot, but I have no idea what my username was. Oh well.

Wait... Do you mean to tell me there are other reasons to play KoL aside from the clever writing and brilliant humor? ;)

(Of course there are, it all depends on what you're looking for in a game.)

In my opinion the best part of KoL is the community -- the regional meets and the annual convention, the radio station, the chat channels, etc. (My avatar is from a picture taken at KoL Con in '08.) We have a saying over there: "Come for the game, stay for the community."

KoL and DF have one important thing in common. BOOZE IS ESSENTIAL!

anyone tried out this new Gods & Heroes: Rome Rising game? Its been in development for AGES. not sure what took them so long.

A neat looking feature is that along with you avatar, you control a squad of hirelings, you control formation and how they attack and such. Seemed like a fun idea.
