Derek notices Zarkov reach for a pokeball. "Oh hell no! You're the one holding it down, don't let your arms loose!"

Quickly capture it before Zarkov does something stupid.
Just going to mention that I am not actually holding it down though I guess I did tackle it somewhat, its is string shotted and thus wrapped up quite well. The only thing I did was put my hat over its head so it couldn't see.

*Peers at update.*

Oops.

Edit: wait, you're pinning it to the ground. my point still has effectiveness!

Well double oops cause I probably should have posted that here. Need to get in the mindset of having 2 threads, one for actions and one for comments.

Edit: I am sitting on top of it, my hands are not involved in the pinning of the pokemon.

Well, out of the whole MM1 waitlist only four people reported back, two of whom negatively. So you can pretty much crop everyone up to wolfchild. Which I should probably do myself, btw. Hold on... ...there we go. Now it's just.. 30 people. Yesh. Oh wait, forgot Flying Dice's application. 31.

Well, to be more precise only five were contacted, because the rest dropped off the forum. And only one stated that he's got no time to keep up with a forum game, the other just... didn't say one way or the other, and didn't post a character. You should keep in mind, these applications were three years ago. Almost.

Turn is brewing, btw. The Seekers are channeling HMRC levels of ineptitude. As in, flailing wildly, but somehow getting things done.

Huh, 3 years? I knew it was a while ago but I was betting on about 2 years. I was actually going to go check exactly when I signed up for a turn but have been doing other thing with more importance.

Well, the game itself started in 2008, so for some it could be longer than that. Yours specifically is almost exactly three years, your signup post dates to 20th February 2010. So yes, you probably could have started your own RtD and had more fun that way in the meantime. ^_^

I did do a short lived RTD, I think it was some sorta of arena thing. I probably would have been better off with a cooperative type of thing and less extreme results if I remember correctly.

2008... I was in the first half of highschool then... I feel old... I was part of this forum back when DF was still 2d... Must be almost half my life now...

Ahem, yes. Just realised how much this community has been a part of me. Wow.

And, update again. My work schedule's been messing with my free time, so slightly uneven update times.

Well, better than no updates at all at least. ^_^

Um, since I can talk to Zangoose I think I would have asked it if it had a name already or not. Though I guess I am bringing this up mostly because I suddenly can't think of a name. I had a few for either case but forgot to write it down.

Edit: Oh and I probably would not need to ask gender if I asked for a name because it will probably be obvious. Though this is just me not liking asking questions like that myself. I had figured it would be more of a check the 'dex thing

Pokemon in the wild generally don't have names beyond that of their species, at least as far as I'm aware. And the "understanding", to my, er, understanding, is more along the lines of "Timmy's in the well" - i.e. you understand concepts and actions, but self-identity would be hard. If you asked for a name you'd get "I'm me", since it'd say whatever it uses to refer to itself.

So no, you still have to think of a name. :) It doesn't even have to make sense, just think of any moniker that sounds cool and/or seems applicable.

(and you don't have a 'dex to check it, either. Alix is away, and Derek was undergoing some medical treatment, with his pokedex stuffed into his pack.

Also, I'm still wondering how the hell am I going to do TMs and HMs, but I suppose it's one of those "build that bridge when we come to it" things. :P )
