Only as a waitlist member, I'm afraid. You've had quite a big part in the original game, so you should give new blood some room.

yes, that is what I meant, in the whitelist.
with a bit of luck I'll play multiworld madness III or IV :D

well, I'll start thinking of a character then.
I think I'll try to be a warrior ( hammerman when I get a chance to have a weapon) again...  hammers give good "lockpicking" bonuses.

Like any good fighter will tell you, a warhammer is just a really heavy set of lockpicks.

In unrelated news, I've mostly* finalized the list of worlds for this game. I'm being careful not to include anything that implies plot arcs greater than two weeks in length, or distances longer than fifty miles... in settings where you're expected to go on foot anyways.

* In regards to the "mostly" - which would you prefer: Naruto, or Avatar:TLA? I'm having trouble deciding.

Avatar.

I'd be sure to muse on the more... crude but effective uses of waterbending as an anti-personnel weapon.

Basically, my pros/cons for either are these.

Avatar: Easier to form a plot arc, saner magic system, firm established universe. But more limited magic as a whole, and some intricacies of the setting and mythos still elude me. And not much variety in enemies and their tactics either.

Naruto: Ludicrous amounts of fun possible with the jutsu system when every player can attempt to invent his own. Flashier and more diverse abilities overall, conveniently massive land to have a sidequest in, plus the whole thing with ninjas is a rather appealing concept. But the universe is a clusterf*ck of adaptations that make trying to fit in in a coherent way very hard (not that a lot of people will mind any errors in my interpretations), and the whole thing with the Japanese language will really strain my imagination (because I'll need to come up with original names for things).

All in all, Narutoverse would probably make for a more interesting experience, but at a greater cost in time and effort than Avatarverse. Plus the Avatarverse is probably closer to most players. I still don't get what's with all the anime segregation I'm seeing in places.

I'm for Avatarverse just so a grumpy old man can (hopefully) kick some Fire Nation ass with a pump-action shotgun with a bayonet (hint hint no not really)

Personally speaking I was on multiple Naruto forums as a moderator or admin a few years ago. So while I'd prefer Avatar just to do something different, if you want help with Naruto I can try to lend a hand.

I'd prefer Naruto, to be honest. One of my favorite anime, and I know a lot about it. Avatar less so... But yeah. I can also help with Naruto, if you need/want it. I also have a website which has a decent English - Romanji (Japanese with English alphabet) translator. Plus... Ninja that wear orange and throw fireballs. ;)
