* Sean Mirrsen looks at the roll results for the turn.

...on the other hand, the temptation to go all Piecewise on you is slowly rising. I mean, with the separate-but-connected point-of-view action results. It's easier to describe people failing all over the place that way.

I like how it's a thing now, to go all Piecewise on someone's ass. He really does make an impression, doesn't he?

Well, you are an exceptional writer and a very (darkly) fun GM. It's something worth aiming for. :)

True. Well, today wasn't the best day for that sort of thing. Still, Update! It's a shortish one. You'll see why when you see the rolls. :)

The delay's not my fault for once! :D Waiting for an action from DreamThorn. I'll give 'im another 24 hours before doing something drastic like putting him on AI.

And, update. DreamThorn, the way the power gaining system works (I've explained parts of it, I think, in this thread) is that you can only "regain" a power that could be conceivably used in your original universe - which is close to ours in most regards - or a power that is known to exist in the universe you're currently in. Tentacles weren't particularly close to either, but I decided that it'd be a [3] roll (i.e. remotely possible) just because it's anime, and maybe some sort of mutations aren't too out of the question. You got a [1], so...

The possibility for tentacles in pokemon is technically there as there are people with psychic powers so one must assume some above average chance of strange mutations. Also it really depends on how close to the original pokemon series the world cuts because if you stray even a little bit from it you instantly get all kinds of things like part pokemon part human stuff and anthro pokemon though of course thats all basicly fan fiction. Though of course if you want turning into a pokemon there is actually something in a pokemon game though in pokemon mystery dungeon you get turned into one because you end up in a world where there are no humans and thus get turned into a pokemon.

Translation: Tentacles maybe because psychic powers yes. Turning into a pokemon though is part of a pokemon game so more possible. Doing something hybrid or maybe turning into an anthro pokemon (IE a pokemon that is more human shaped and able to talk like a human) is only possible if the world is not strictly based on the core pokemon world. Of course if you just want to be a pokemon that can speak human thats perfectly fine as well because Meowth from team rocket can do it and as previously stated turning into a pokemon is also possible.

I happen to like Pokemon and am a nerd/geek so I accidentally slipped into jargon there. Put in a translation though I don't know if its any more understandable.
