It is said that in the year 990 a league of Elven Archmages weaved a terrible spell to drain the world of magic and wonder. Overnight the great beasts vanished, casters forgot their spells, and the gods fell silent. The league claimed that they did it to make war less frequent and less brutal. Little did they know what kind of terrible weapons they sentient beings would learn to craft when left to their mundane devices...
Your nation and it's allies are currently locked in a brutal war with little chance of victory. However a spark of hope exists. Last month a terrible explosion rocked the world and the long forgotten lands of Remembrance re-emerged from whatever realm they had been hiding in for the last couple thousand years. These lands are untouched by the Elven curse and are still rife with magic, fantastic beasts, and the whispering of the gods.
Your faction has decided to send a team of elite explorers to Remembrance, in hopes of finding something, anything, to turn the tides of war. You are one of the lucky ones chosen to partake in the expedition... but what is your field of expertise? And what war are your people fighting?

This will be a fairly open ended exploration based game featuring fantasy races from a more modern era interacting with a traditional medieval/fantasy world. This will be my new main project, as I am shutting down Elfin Refugees, and thus I will give working on this a high priority. To join, claim a character slot and vote on the era.
