I have just gotten Shogun total war 2. Everytime I start it up, it gets stuck on the start screen, and does not move. It has not frozen or crashed, because I can move around the mouse and my computer still works afterwards.

How do I get it to work?

Either not enough memory or your computer is doing what loads of peoples is doing.

Quoting this for it's high truth content. Shogun takes freaking ages to load the main menu. I think I timed it at one point, it took something like three or four minutes. Made it extremely annoying trying to play multiplayer with a few friends when the game CTD'd at every other game we entered.

Ok, I got it to work now. It had to load for an hour >.>

I expected that it would be shorter. Awsome Intro, BTW.

This game has a horrible load time ever since that DX11 patch

I have noticed that its gotten worse. Mine takes about 5 minutes to load now from the usual like 3, but an hour?
