AKA canines.

Kind of a strange way to phrase it, though. Why not just say "canine"?

Um, are you guys reading it right? I don't think dogs have teeth on their eyes.

Your canine teeth (the little mini-vampire fangs in your mouth there) are also known as eye teeth.

Canines also have canines (teeth) also known as eye teeth.

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

Oh. Didn't know that.

Heh, I'll just add it to the list of things I've learned while playing Dwarf Fortress.

It won me a geology bet a couple months back. I split it with Toady, seemed the fair thing to do.

Yeah, canines are what we call our own, but otherwise that phrase is restricted to...well...canines.

Eye-tooth seems to mean more 'whatever is next to the incisor'

I wish I had something cool to say about this.  Because it's really cool.

Eye-tooth is a bit of an older term too, fitting the Dwarf Fortress Era.

Never noticed. Awesome by the way...there is a term that seems strange, everyone goes "what the fuck, bug!" but our game is awesome enough that it is actually fucking right! Praise Toady!

I'd argue that sweetbread is more of a 'what the fuck, bu- oh. ewwwww...'.
