Obligatory Link

Yeah, yeah, Adult Swim game bluh bluh, but they made Robot Unicorn Attack so who says they couldn't make another one? :p

My advice is to pay VERY close attention to the dinosaur's needs and realise that when something goes wrong, it's going to go REALLY wrong. Like your stegosaurus breaks out, gets killed by your triceratops who then goes too fast and flattens a bunch of fences which lets out all your carnivores who then begin the god damn slaughter. Something like that. It's a bit like DF in this way.

That damn Brachiosaurus turned red, went on a rampage, killing the entire jeep of people, my Allosaurus, two Velociraptors, and both Stegosaurus.

I think I'll stick to Zoo Tycoon Dinosaur expansion. It pretty much got it perfect.

Past when the fossil is being brushed off (loading screen?) the box goes black. Shame, sounded great fun. Who could resist Brachiosauruses squashing entire Jeeps of people and all the other dinosaurs?

Shame on you all for not playing Dinosaur Tycoon.  The ultimate in the Genre.

And then there was this...

Spoiler (click to show/hide)

Despite it being a pretty rubbish game, I LOVED the gene-splicing aspect of it. Altering their patterns, feathers, horns, etc was fun.

Why not "acquire" Zoo Tycoon 2? Or is it worse than Zoo Tycoon 1?

It's quite a lot worse, and obviously aimed at 12 year olds, whereas the original had challenge for older gamers too.

I'm tempted to dig up my old discs, but my sister probably has them.

Yeah, yeah, Adult Swim game bluh bluh
What's wrong with Adult Swim? aren't they an aggregator of games, just like Newgrounds or Kongregate and others, and don't actually do anything themselves? Why the hate?

I've noticed that the games on Adult Swim are usually what the titles say they are but not quite what you think it is.

Plus, Lesbian Spider Queens from Mars was fairly addicting.
