Hold it right there! Armenia loses infantry, they are no soldiers.  :)
(read the spoiler further. It's pointed out that so far we've faced trash armies. Martian Reform Cohorts / Uber generals / Texudo Formation legionaries won't die to arrows.)

If I may suggest a nation for the next LP, I suggest Dacia. Since someone did thrace on the forum before, and Dacia is hard. It's also never played as.

Damn. I always used "Tortoise Formation" so I had to look up on wikipedia to check if it was "Testudo" or "Tetsudo". And I still got it wrong.

Let's put it this way for Numidia.

Carthage: Much better units, can easily crush them.

 Egypt: Not only will you have to deal with Carthage, but you'll have to deal with Egypt, who's strategy is sending full stacks at you. Also their units are better and IIRC you only have one city next to them.

 Well, the problem is there's !!FUN!!, but you'll never win. If there was a list of factions least likely to win Numidia would get second. The first being Spain who have no hope in hell of winning.

Bull warriors are pathetic from what i remember, Spanish cavalry sucks balls, they have no archers, no phalanx.. I'd be using mercs alot..
But keep in mind that factions such as Spain get boring very fast. VERY fast. You reach the top of their tech tree in round 5.

I have tried Thrace on VH/H, and by 265 had 11 provinces, great income and open doors for world domination. Sure i was at war with everyone by then, but i had full confidence that my troops can take them on.

At any rate. Working on :


A very chaotic update in which i kept hitting "Break" instead of PrtSc... I wonder if i should post my general battle plan (made in Paint) with the update. Would clear things up greatly.

I am not sure if i manage to edit it today - a busy Saturday it was - so i'm listening.

Last, but not least.. Since the B, C and E vote appear to be TIED (Voltron has 1 vote on B an 2 on C) i will probably do all three things at once. Strike Egypt from two sides, take Anatolian Peninsula, crush the entire east, profit... In theory.

 Still, there is some time left for voting. To be more specific : Till the next update.

Wouldn't it work better with fake legionaries? From what I remember from fighting Armenia, those were pretty much the best infantry they had.
