The foul creature shuts the door and continues approaching you. Once it reaches the center of the room, you charge at it and start bashing it with your left fist, whilst grabbing the club with your right.

You tear the club away from it and step back, and proceed to smash its skull in, sending small chunks of brain splattering in the room. The event made little sound, however any other guards will most likely notice their companion missing soon. (+1 Flimsy Wooden Club)

You notice a large iron key hanging from a loop on the guard's pants, and grab it for yourself. It looks like it fits in the keyhole to the door. There is no other salvagable equipment among the guard's gear. (+1 Large Iron Key)

Grab your walking stick and something that you can use for a belt of some kind as well as your food and water. Fasten your walking stick to yourself, unlock the door and hide the guards body inside the sleeping bag, making sure that it looks like he is you and is sleeping. If the corridor outside is clear, shut the door behind you and lock it. Then find somewhere to hide and check the place out.

Listen to see if anyone is nearby.  If there are, pretend to scream from pain until they pass, if they enter, ambush and kill them.  If  no one is nearby, stealthily escape.

Trying to find Max might not necessarily work with the amount of unknown parameters such as how large the area is, which rooms are defended and/or hold prisoners, whether Max is in the same building as you, whether Max is alive, there's so many unknown things I suggest we just try and look for prisoners in general and release all the one's you find with the key stealthily and once you've unlocked as many doors as you can find have them all surge out at once to overcome your opponents.

As for resources, at the moment what I have is in various stages of completion though nothing is entirely finished, I have, say what you want and I can deliver though workload just started another random spike where everything comes up at once so might take a week or so of delay, probs just as well I didn't get round to launching part 2 yet  :P :

Notes on lore and history of the world/story stuff
A more structured and manageable combat/skills and inventory system

%50-70 Complete

Comprehensive overview map of play area, here's the most finished chunk which is mostly done (except for colour and polish) I know the towns may have moved slightly but there's a good reason for it and it makes rough sense if you think through it in a abstract way and disregard a fair bit of travel time in part 1, also the wall on the right is mostly broken down, just need to delete bits of it.

You take the dead guard's belt and use it to fasten your walking stick to yourself. You attach your waterskin to the belt and shove your loaf of bread into your pocket.

You drag the corpse into your sleeping bag, so at first glance it would appear as if it was you inside it. You put your ear to the door and listen carefully, hearing no guards.

Slowly and carefully, you open the door, looking up and down the hall. It appears to be clear, so you close the door behind you gently and lock it shut.

The hall is faintly lit with flickering torches fastened to the wall, and there are several doors on either side of you. A sign next to a door down the hall on your left reads "Barracks." In the cell adjacent to yours on the right, you hear a familiar voice moaning in pain.

This place seems to bring back strange memories from your childhood. You can't remember them clearly, but they give you an uncomfortable feeling.

NOES! where do you think the guards are if we had our old equipment sure but a club and a injured dwarf or other thing is not a good idea stay away find aanother way out.

You sneak over to the room from which you hear the moaning, unlocking the door and opening it slowly. The room is slightly larger than your cell was, but with a higher ceiling, the top about twelve feet above the ground. There is a pool of blood in the center of the room.

The most shocking thing, however, is the pale body of Mark hung upside down by his leg, moaning and seemingly near unconsciousness. Upon seeing you, he moans and barely manages to whisper out, "They haven't turned you yet... you need to... help me... down." Every few seconds a drop of scarlet blood falls from his outstretched arms into the pool on the ground. He looks as if he's been brutally whipped recently.

He is hanging slightly out of your reach, you need to find some way to get him down. What would you like to do?
