Well thanks too how delighted the kobolds were with their loot *glances at squishynoob* we now know there's two more ogres wandering about, search for them in the large cavern and try to take them out stealthily then pursue the boss.

Yeah but we don't have a lot of ammo left

Hmm Kilroy has 5 arrows left which I agree isn't many though Mark probably also has about 5, that should be enough for taking out the two ogres then that still pose a threat to a group scavenging for arrows, so maybe we try and reclaim them before we get the chieftan and the others in the lower cavern but after the ones still close by?

You send Max to scout out the rest of the large chamber, the rest of you hiding behind the stone pillar in the center of the room. He sees the position of the two ogres, motioning to the rest of the group.

Max: hide behind the boxes near the upper bend, Get ready for more back-stabby goodness.

Group: Stand near the upper bend and attract the attention of the Ogres.

Asno casts earth's furry and whilst she has a nap have the others search for arrows as the two ogres should be simple enough to dispatch after the spell.

[OOC: Mark seems to get lucky rolls pretty frequently, he got another 99]

Max quickly runs behind some boxes in preparation to ambush. The other three of you move up to the upper bend of the cavern and begin attracting the ogres' attention.

Asno meditates for a moment as the ground begins to rumble, shaking a few rocks loose from the ceiling but stopping before anything interesting happens. She shouts out that not enough time has passes since her last casting of the spell and that she hasn't entirely recovered her energy. She instead calls thorny barbs from the ground to entangle one of the ogres, which begins thrashing around.

Max jumps out from his corner and begins stabbing the other ogre's back, giving it a few bleeding punctures before he is knocked to the floor by the creature.

Mark takes aim at the entangled ogre, hitting it in the chest. The arrow pierces deep, puncturing the heart of the ogre, which bleeds out quickly.

You take aim at the ogre Max targeted, hitting it in the stomach. It pulls out the arrow, which snaps in half as it is ripped out. (-1 Arrow)

Indeed. A fire touch would be best here. Also, max is a beast with that knife. He should try going for the tendons if possible, especially the ones in the elbows. That should help disable the ogre.

Nah. Go for the legs. They are lower to the ground and easier for a dwarf to hit. An Ogre on the ground is basically a sitting duck for our many ranged attacks.

Spoiler: OOC (click to show/hide)

You shout at Max, “Go for the knees, Max! Go for the knees!”

Max charges back toward the ogre, stabbing it behind the knees while laughing maniacally, causing the beast to collapse face first into the ground as it loses its ability to stand. He jumps back before it manages to swing its fist at him.

Asno runs up to the ogre, her hand suddenly engulfing itself in flames. She grabs the ogre by its fat, burning it severely.

Mark takes aim at the ogre, hitting it in the shoulder. The ogre groans as it pulls the arrow out of its body.

You suddenly find yourself incredibly focused on your target. All you can see is the ogre thrashing around on the ground in front of you, and the bow in your hand, all sounds muted except for your heartbeat. You draw two arrows from your quiver, holding both in your bow. You take aim at the ogre, time seemingly slowed, releasing them both, one hitting the ogre in the eye, the other hitting it in the heart. You see the ogre collapse, and look around to notice everyone looking at you in awe. You then black out for a few moments before realizing what just happened, with everyone around you congratulating you. You manage to pick both arrows out of the corpse. (Your archery skill has increased. You now roll between 10-100 instead of 1-100 in archery based rolls, in addition to your +10 bonus.)

You hear two quick explosions from the southern part of the cave, your tripwire must have been triggered. What would you like to do?
