Well maybe not that elaborate silencing attack, ok. But still we should make this as quick as possible, then retreat.

Also Vent if you would be so very awesome could you edit the first post to put this in (maybe centered above the rest or whatever)? Here's the link:

Asno entangles the ogre, rooting it in place and causing it to thrash around trying to escape.

Max quickly gets behind it, stabbing it several times in the back and causing it to fall to its knees, bleeding considerably.

You take aim at the ogre, hitting it in the chest. It pulls out the arrow. (-1 Arrow)

Mark takes aim at the ogre, hitting it in jugular and causing it to bleed more.

The ogre begins humming loudly and striking the ground and walls with his hammer, making a lot of noise. The four of you decide it is time to start retreating to the entrance of the tunnel. Looking back you see another ogre stepping out from the room, and one is leaving the shadows ahead of you.

You think the four of you could run past the ogre in front of you toward the entrance if you act quickly. What would you like to do?

Run to the entrance of the cave. Quickly. Once at a safe distance, Mark and Roy shoot arrows, Max and Asno throw a bomb each at the closest ogre.

Edit: Wow. I got reply # 666  :D

*sigh* Run out and regroup on the beach and on the way smash the dwarfish lantern on a rock wall nearby, whilst covered by the rest, have Mark quickly strike together two rocks to create a spark next to the spilt oil to create a wall of fire (as a hunter he should be able to do this quickly and easily) holding back the ogres temporarily, afterwards I guess it's an idea to throw in a bunch of grenades, arrows whatever whilst there in a choke point and either coming at you/retreating.

EDIT: rather than have mark strike together two rocks have Asno cast fire touch on the spilt oil whilst mark fires back into the cavern

Or use our Gnomish Lighter :P

Either way, do this if it's really necessary and the ogres are (about) as fast as us.
Otherwise, i' d just retreat and shoot / bomb them without spilling oil.

Lets go with this.

Nah... but we should research incendiary bombs once we finish these creeps off.

Edit: Good news is the Ogre we just attacked is most likely screwed.

We should research Asno enchanting Kilroys creations... they could become even more deadly if they burnt those they touched... or imbuing his alchemy with healing breeze for example... hmm I think Asno should have quite a bit of focus on her development afterwards because whilst decent alone I think she'd make a much better support role aiding everyone in the group.

[OOC: For the next map, I think I'm gonna remove the corpses after every battle or looting, because it's looking a little cluttered. Mark rolled a 99, that's crazy.]

The group quickly slips past the ogre, Max barely dodging a hammer swing.

You consider dramatically smashing your lantern on the wall to make a puddle of oil, but instead throw a vial of extra oil you have on the ground. You quickly light it with your Gnomish lighter. (-1 Lantern Oil)

Another ogre steps out from the unexplored tunnel. The pursuing ogre enters your line of sight.

Mark takes aim at the closest ogre, hitting it in the eye and causing it to fall motionless immediately.

Max throws a shrapnel bomb, cutting the ogres up but not doing much damage.

Asno throws a shrapnel bomb, causing metal shards to strike the lower ogre's face, causing it to growl in pain.

What would you like to do?

I was already thinking about looking into Asno messing with Killroy's inventions. I think we should focus on developing Asno into a more offensive caster/battle-mage type. We already have Killroy as a support unit, we just need to focus on our Alchemy more.

We do need a proper melee tank at some point though.

More arrows, more bombs.

(use the black powder ones if we're running out of shrapnel ones - distribute them, and aim for the face).

Asno: Wait for the two Ogres to get close together and drop Earth's Fury on them. Might as well see what it dose.

Then...

More arrows, more bombs.

(use the black powder ones if we're running out of shrapnel ones - distribute them, and aim for the face).
