Figure out how to make shrapnel spreading anti-personnel explosives to deal with the Ogres without causing much damage to the contents of the Royal Shipping Center.

Take a boatride with one of the legit merchants. Maybe we can find a pirate-hunting vessel and hop aboard that.

Because Pirate Hunters are badasses.

Pirates are more badass, IMO.
And it's them who actually run this town, we're lucky.

You inquire about clearing the “Royal Shipyard” of ogres, and you are told of the location of the cave and the general layout. You think up a way to create some shrapnel bombs that would leave the stored goods relatively undamaged, but tear the ogres to shreds. You can make them for 6 copper coins each. (You now know how to make Shrapnel Bombs.)

I'd say, we go and have a look at the cave. Check before attempting to clear it.

HIRE A HOOKER! 8)

Hooray for Maturity. No. Roy has his heart set of Chell.

Make 12 Shrapnel bombs. Give 3 to each party member. Ask Asno if she has a melee weapon to back up her magic. If not buy her whatever she would feel most comfortable wielding. Check the Thieves guild to see if they teach any interesting skills.

HIRE A HOOKER! 8)

You consider hiring a prostitute, but you have better things to spend your money on.

You make 12 Shrapnel Bombs, giving 3 to each party member. (-72 Copper Coins, +3 Shrapnel Bombs)

You ask Asno if she has a melee weapon to back up her magic, and she whacks your shin with her staff. She's a bit feisty, you should have seen that coming, but she didn't hit you hard and shes grinning at you, so it's all okay.

You check the Thieves Guild, asking what they can teach you. They tell you the following:
They can give you sneaking lessons for 20 copper coins.
They can teach you to pick locks (Max already can) for 25 copper coins.
They can improve your alchemy by teaching you to mix poisons for 30 copper coins.
They can teach you to be more agile for 25 copper coins.

What would you like to do?

This. Roy should learn sneaking and agility. He should talk Mark into taking classes as well. Get a good nights sleep and head to the cave in morning.

Roy must also learn how to mix poisons. Improve his alchemy and learn to make poison.

Also, we must inquire what kind of skills Asno has, beside those combat spells.

Mark & Roy improve agility.

You convince Mark to take sneaking and agility lessons with you. You both show up, not knowing exactly, what to expect, as a drunk bandit stumbles into the training area.

“Alright lads, t'day I'm gonna teach ya how to be sneaksty and quick!” he hiccups, “So for our first lesson, we're gonna- Oh guys what the hell! What is that?!” He points behind you. There is nothing there, and when you turn back around he's gone. You both get smacked across the back of the head by the bandit, who has managed to get behind you unnoticed in your distraction. “I hope you both jus' learnt somethin...”

The rest of the lessons continue like that. You also decide to spend some cash on poison mixing lessons. (-75 Copper Coins, +Skills)

After your training you go to camp and talk to Asno. You ask her what kind of skills she has besides her combat spells.

“Besides the generic shaman stuff? Not a lot. There's more to my power that I haven't told you, I have a pretty strong grasp over nature to do what I please. Perhaps you'll find out in time. I'm pretty mean in a fight, my friend.” She grins as she says the last part.

You sleep for the night and in the morning get ready for your task. Is there anything you'd like to do before heading to the cave?

You walk along the beach to the entrance of the cave. Asno explains to you that she can tune into natural parts of the cave and get a general layout of it. Any dug part, she mentions, will be invisible to her ability.

The four of you stand at the entrance to the cave. You smell rotting flesh, most likely whatever it was the ogres have been eating. What would you like to do?
