hell yeah!  8) also when you do battle maps can you do keys more as they're pretty helpful or get like little sprites for the letters, see in dwarf fortress you see the same guys lots rather than only a couple times =/

[An OOC note, I'll work on making some sprites and make keys on future battle maps. This is all still a learning experience for me, but I think I've been improving my forum-gaming skills as time goes on. I have a question for you guys, would you like to see the rolls I use for combat and other things (Ex: You shoot the arrow and miss! (Rolled 13/100) ), or should I just keep them hidden?]

Max rushes the dazed Orc and clubs it again, denting its forehead and dropping it to the ground. He runs to the ladder and, looking down, sees the Goblin leader standing below him. He throws a javelin down, missing, and alerting the Goblin to his presence.

Mark takes aim at the Orc that came from the above floor, his arrow striking it in the throat causing it to collapse. You aim at the Orc that just killed a Kobold (after this fight I think I'm going to number generic baddies), missing but drawing its attention away from the Kobold.

The Goblin manages to kill one of the Kobolds that is now charging it, but they soon take him to the ground and disarm him, before bashing his face into the ground.

The remaining Orc drops his weapon and puts his hands up in surrender.

The building looks clear, the two of you meet up with Mark at the entrance. The Kobolds tie up the Orc and Goblin, and tell you that when you're done with them they'd like to show them to the saw...

The plans and chests are still upstairs, what would you like to do?

Mark: Try to convince the Kobolds the the elves have much crueler ways of killing and tormenting the foe, and that you would like to hand the goblin over to them. Tell them they can do as they please to the Orc however.

Max: Grab the battle plans.

Killroy: Loot the place for anything valuable.

Their might be a pack animal we could steal nearby. After all, I doubt they would haul all the wood away on foot.

You have Mark convince the Kobolds the elves have much crueler ways to kill and torment their foes, and that you would like the overseer handed over to them. Have you ever seen a person tied on top of a new bamboo sprout? It grows through them over the course of a week, he says. He gives them the Orc though, and as you guys investigate the top story the screams you hear are horrifying. (+1 Captive Goblin Overseer)

Max grabs the plans, list and blueprints from the table, and breaks the locks to all the chests before opening them. The first three are nothing interesting, just some coins. (+47 Copper Coins)

In the last chest, however, is something that shocks you all. Now that it is open it emits a dim light onto the walls.

[OOC: And now, I must leave for a few hours. I could have finished this update, but I think I'll let you guys debate about it for a while until I get back and finish the update. If someone guesses what it is, I'll think of some sort of reward xD]

Show the rolls =D

Also in terms of game-play once you've got everything out side blow up the sawmill and investigate what appears to be hmm... Chel glowing softly, infused with some kind of strange magic? Or an elf... maybe even Mavrick but either way some kind of glowing creature you've possibly met before.

I bet it's a fairy. A great fairy.

also: Loot corpses. Whips are powerful! But just to sell. Don't want to cut your own arm off.

That armour is what caught my eye. Have a look at that, if it's too big for anyone, we can always break it apart and make stuff from the plates if it's metal. Also, find a blade of some kind for max. He deserves it for a job well done. I honestly thought there were more orcs here, looks like they were making the kobolds do all the grunt work instead. I'm sure that the elves will pay well for this, especially for a captive (a goblin commander nonetheless!) and the plans.

Also, what do you think a orcish sawmill has that glows? Something magical no dout. What's more interesting however, how on earth did they get a sawmill so close the the elf retreat without getting turned into pincushions? Should we have a look at the plans?

Some thinking ahead: what should we do with all the money? What should we buy? Should we take the time to find more moss on the way back, or head immediately to the retreat so to give that goblin as little chance of escape as possible?
