The walls of the room are thick boards of oak. The floor is of the same thick wood and coloring. The floor is a bit wet to the touch and has a tendency to bounce up and down when you walk. The ceiling is the same as the floors.

The door is heavy steel bars with a thick and intimidating lock.

Your pretty sure its not your ship.

All in All its a pretty bland but secure room.

Good idea. We need to see if there is any other prisoners nearby, and who our captors are.

Don't forget to check out our chains and the locks on them closely. We will need to get rid of them sooner or later.

I'm intending to start a part 2 thread, I've had the go ahead from fileusenox (Vent still hasn't been on the forum since his last post in this threa), it'll just take a wee while (maybe a week) as I'm doing some art for it but the situation is:

After you were captured by the silver claw vanguard whom the half-goblin and Jhonny worked for your group was taken east to Crestvale under lock and chain. When you arrived Asno was executed as an example for her treachery when she turned her back on them. You are currently in a high security prison and have been for six long years, one day Mark was taken away and you never saw him again. It's just you, Max and a few other inmates in prison now.

You've found out (after a guards sadistic dialog) in just a couple days time you and Max will be transported back to Crestvale where in the town square you shall be put to trial and almost certainly sentenced to death by hanging later that afternoon, this will be your last chance to escape and be a free man once again.

Ok, bit sinister and most of the original group's been killed of but the idea is to have a new start and create a stereotypical enemy to help the story-line keep moving along and develop. What do you think? I guess part 2 will end when the Silver claw Vanguard cease to exist/you kill the leader/whatever interesting thing you guys can come up with.

Chapter Two: The Continuation

You wake to the scent of damp earth and the reek of decay. Your vision is blurry and for a few moments every nerve in your body screams in pain. Your memory is shot, and you have no idea how long you have been blacked out for, but it feels as if it has been a long time. Your body is covered in scars and bruises, the cause of this is a mystery.

Taking a quick note at your surroundings, you seem to be in some sort of jail cell. Besides a lit torch on the wall, the bones of previous inmates, and a small, disgusting looking cloth sleeping bag on the floor, the room is barren. On the wall opposite of the sleeping bag rests a heavy looking steel door, no doubt locked.

You take stock of your possessions, you don't have much: a worn down walking stick (the one you made yourself so many months ago, it seems), the clothes on your back, a loaf of stale bread, and a half empty water skin.

Your companions aren't in the cell with you, you can only imagine what might have happened to them.

The sound of heavy steps approaches your door, and a raspy, cackling voice calls out, “It's beating time again, maggot! I hope your ready!”

What would you like to do?

I started pushing it in a direction I didn't like long before I handed off control to anyone, it was my own fault, not any one else on this forum.
