Chapter Two: The Continuation
You wake to the scent of damp earth and the reek of decay. Your vision is blurry and for a few moments every nerve in your body screams in pain. Your memory is shot, and you have no idea how long you have been blacked out for, but it feels as if it has been a long time. Your body is covered in scars and bruises, the cause of this is a mystery.
Taking a quick note at your surroundings, you seem to be in some sort of jail cell. Besides a lit torch on the wall, the bones of previous inmates, and a small, disgusting looking cloth sleeping bag on the floor, the room is barren. On the wall opposite of the sleeping bag rests a heavy looking steel door, no doubt locked.
You take stock of your possessions, you don't have much: a worn down walking stick (the one you made yourself so many months ago, it seems), the clothes on your back, a loaf of stale bread, and a half empty water skin.
Your companions aren't in the cell with you, you can only imagine what might have happened to them.
The sound of heavy steps approaches your door, and a raspy, cackling voice calls out, “It's beating time again, maggot! I hope your ready!”

I'm sorry I just abandoned this thread, I should have at least said I had lost interest. I didn't like the direction the story was going, so I just kind of left it.
The story of Kilroy isn't over yet though, I just got some new inspiration. I was going to start a new forum game, but I decided that this one was well worth continuing instead.
