Max: Asno: rush to the northern chamber and prepare.

Mark, Roy: go see what happened

You want everyone to split up? That's a terrible idea, they should all should explore together

This. Check the traps first. Then deal with the boss!

Agree with that, check the traps. Together.

Before we take on the boss, we should rest and recover, making sure that we all get a healing spell cast on us and that our shaman recovers from the strain fully. In the meantime, we should all go to check on the traps, but do so quietly and carefully.

If you want to play it safe, I guess thats a smart idea. But the boss is still one unit. All we need to do is lure it to where there are no boxes and bomb the ever loving crap out of it.

We don't have many bombs left. Still, they should come in handy. And it was said that the boss was even bigger than the other ogres, so we have no idea how much damage it will soak up before it dies. Best to play it safe, lest someone's chest cave in.

'Roy's inventory alone has 3 black powder and 2 shrapnel bombs. After we check the traps we should take inventory of what our allies have and evenly re-distribute our remaining explosives.

hmm... our bombs are helpful but we probably should start using them a bit more sparingly being rather expensive in the future

The last two missions we have been making 5 silver a pop. With any luck this one will be worth even more to us. Money isn't an issue the bombs are worth it. Although come to think of it we could try and talk some of the other party members into contributing to the explosive fund every so often...

The four of you lightly jog south toward the tripwire, seeing that it has indeed triggered. One ogre lays dead, its leg blown off. Judging by the blood around it, it seems as if it bled out after the incident. The other ogre is standing above its dead companion, with an expression of sorrow. The group attempts to be sneaky, however you accidentally kick a rock as you're moving, making a loud knocking sound.

The ogre looks up and sees you, and before any of you can react charges at you in rage. It swings its huge fist at you before you can dodge, and after a quick moment of seeing the cave walls around you move quickly, you hit the wall and pass out. (Kilroy is now unconscious.)

The ogre is approaching Mark now. What would you like to do?

This is bad.
Anyone, retreat.
While doing so:

Mark: shoot / bomb the ogre once in a safe distance.
Max : bomb the ogre if it's safe (no splash damage to Roy / Mark), otherwise just distract him.
Asno: Heal Kilroy.

Hmm... well a bow and arrow isn't going to be much help, how about mark tries too shove a bomb down the ogres throat? That'd avoid the splash damage and almost certainly kill it, shouldn't be TOO hard to throw it down if it's shouting or whatever as you do when enraged. Plus I want to see how you show an ogre that's been blown up from the inside out  :P

EDIT: Also a request to vent, don't suppose when you do an update you could make them cover a wee bit more time? And also in your phases of not posting updates can I post some using the same format just to keep it all rolling?

For future reference 'Roy should always be in the back of our formation. Also trying to shove a bomb down somebodies throat is stupid.

The bow CAN help, if he gets a good roll. It is possible to one-shot them - even an incapacitating wound would be good enough in this situation.

Try to imagine shoving a bomb in a rampaging ogre's mouth yourself, you'll realize it's not that easy :P
I'm still of the same opinion:
Quote
Mark: shoot / bomb the ogre once in a safe distance.
Max : bomb the ogre if it's safe (no splash damage to Roy / Mark), otherwise just distract him.
Asno: Heal Kilroy.
Also, Max should keep ready to backstab the ogre furiously in case it turns to finish 'Roy.

Except that situations like this one happen, and it takes input from us players to screw them up even more find a way out.
