No retreat yet. We still have the ring and some of the Goblins Damage dealing spells to try.

That said Mark and Roy shoot the same Ogre.

Mark and Asno Melee the other one while it is too busy pulling roots to fight back.

The spells doing it's work well. Let's try another, Fire touch this time. Same plan as above but use fire touch instead of melee.

Armor piercing nails combined with a more powerful charge should do the trick. That will rip them up good.

I'm not sure how often she can use the spell. We might as well save something for a rainy day.

All we would need to do is upscale our shrapnel bomb design.

Edit: Zako basically beat me too it.

You take aim at the northern ogre, hitting it in the upper arm. It doesn't seem to even notice the stuck in arrow. (-1 Arrow)

Mark takes aim at the same ogre, hitting it in the wrist. It seems to feel this one, and pulls the arrow out, causing it to bleed profusely.

Asno charges the second ogre, whacking it in the side with her staff. It just thrashes and kicks her away, bruising her back as she kicks the wall. Perhaps magic would be more effective?
Asno charges the second ogre as her hand engulfs in flame, transferring the energy to it from her palm. Its side is now heavily burnt.

Max sees the bleeding of the first ogre and quickly runs up, slashing at its arm. He manages to hit a large vein, which is now gushing blood.

The first ogre rips his entangled vines, freeing himself.

A third ogre steps out of the shadows investigating the noise.

What would you like to do?

Mark + Roy: Shoot the Ogre who just escaped the vines and try to draw it away from helping it's buddy.

Asno + Max: Repeat Last Turns actions (If spells can be reused right away)

And I saw the third Ogre, but from their angle the characters would have no idea it was there. Issuing commands relating to it would feel like Metagaming.

Normally I wouldn't have done something like that where they couldn't see it, I just thought it would be amusing to have one poking his head up from the shadows.

You draw an arrow and aim at the ogre again, hitting him in the chest. He looks down and pulls the arrow out, grimacing. (-1 Arrow)

Mark aims at it once again, hitting it in the throat. It enters a rage and starts thrashing around as it begins drowning in its own blood.

The ogre charges forward, swinging its hammer wildly at Mark. He manages to jump away just before the hammer crashes to his previous location.

Max attempts to slice another vein of the ogre he is attacking, however he only manages to scratch the giant beast before it throws him into the opposite wall. He suffers a bad bruise to his side. The second ogre has managed to free itself from the roots.

Asno attempts to cast fire touch again, however she has cast it too recently and sparks only fizzle from her hand. She barely manages to jump away in time to avoid a hammer swing, however she trips as she dodges. She is now on the ground.

The third ogre is still approaching. What would you like to do?

Asno is helpless... Max, charge the burnt Ogre again to save her life (and perhaps start an unholy dwarf/goblin romance)

Roy: Shoot the burnt Ogre

Asno: Try to get up and back away

Mark: Finish off the Dying Ogre in Melee

No you fool! Don't get close to that rampaging thing! Just shoot it again. Our goblin shaman should cast entangle again and scramble away. Max does a hit and run on the ogre near our caster and Roy shoots the rampaging ogre.

We still don't know what the cooldown time is on spells. We could just be wasting our time casting entangle. But you have a point on having mark shoot the Ogre. I forgot we don't have to keep track of his ammo supply.

We don't even know what that dose. It sounds like an Area of Effect spell and if that is the case we have several units that are likely in the blast radius.
