well mark's perfectly capable of shooting thoose two blinded dwarfs, he'll just have to deal with the pain as there's not much actual damage and then go look for better cover, the others you guys can work out

You toss a flash bang in the direction of the approachin Goblins, managing to blind them both. You stay low in the bushes to avoid being shot again. (-1 Flash Bang)

Max slashes at the tangled Goblin's chest, slicing him and causing him to bleed heavily. He jumps back in time to avoid being struck again, and starts backing off from the leader.

Mark, who still has some use of his injured shoulder, takes aim at the remaining archer, shooting it in the chest, striking the heart and killing it.

The blinded axe-Goblin regains his sight, and starts approaching Mark. The hammer-Goblin continues approaching Mark. The leader continues approaching Max. The Kobolds have managed to escape.

You rub the enchanted ring, and leaves begin to swirl around you. In which location of the battle should the wrath of nature strike, or the love of the earth assist you? And what else would you like to do?

Birds should flock out of the trees and peck out the eyes of everyone atacking Mark, as he's in the most danger, if there were enough birds to get the leader too that'd be awesome as well - he'd be much easier to subdue that way.

EDIT: Oh yeah and guys, reckon if Maverick could have taken out that archer before he started going trigger happy and shooting at us with a poisonous bite that'd have made him pretty useful? Anyone? 'Cos I still reckon getting a blacksmith to do some dental work on Maverick would be pretty useful  :-\

Waiting for a few more responses before the next combat turn.
I'm thinking of starting a second text adventure based in a different part of this same world. It wouldn't be updated as often, but before I start writing I'd like to gauge the interest in it to see if it's worth it. Presumably they'd have unrelated stories, but major world events from one would affect the other, and they might rarely run into each other. I think it would be different enough to remain interesting.

So, is anyone interested in A Frogman's Tale?

It won't be started for a while if I even do, I'm just curious.

Nature's wrath shall be unleashed upon the area around the axe goblin approaching Mark, trying to catch the armoured goblin that's also getting close to him.

Roy: Shoot the Blinded Whip goblin.

Max: Try to lure it into the stakes.

Mark: Shoot the armoured goblin. Aim for any open spots in his armour if you can.

You call nature's wrath to be unleashed upon the area of the axe-Goblin near Mark. Thorn covered vines shoot up from the ground, impaling the Goblin and pulling him into the ground where he will become nourishment for the worms. The vines also manage to catch the blinded sword-Goblin's leg, pulling him off his feet.

You aim your bow at the blinded whip-Goblin, taking your time to make the shot accurate, hitting it from nearly point blank in the eye. The Goblin falls back instantly, dead from its newly punctured brain.

Max taunts the mace-Goblin, causing it to lunge forward, giving Max the opportunity to pull the Goblin right into the sharpened spikes. It is impaled, and squirms around in agony until the life drains out of it.

Mark aims for the armored hammer-Goblin coming toward him, hitting it in the hip and causing it fall in pain.

The leader continues approaching Max. The sword-Goblin is no longer blinded.

You should put movement arrows on for the battle maps and Target Retinals over those that have been spotted or something.
