You pick up the smart rat, naming it Mavrick. Mark says he's going to kill the other rats, and, not wanting to see several harmless baby rats crushed, take Mavrick and walk out of the room. Max seems interested in watching, however, and takes out his flask and stays. You hear terrified sounding squeaks as you walk away. (Mavrick has joined the party! Not that he's particularly useful right now...)

The three of you leave the sewer, with Mavrick sleeping in the big pouch of your herbal bag to avoid him being seen, and enter the mayors office. You tell him that the task is complete and hang him a little bag full of rat paws as proof, and he hands you 3 silver coins (1 silver is worth 100 copper) and sends you on your way. You hand Mark a coin, and when asked Max says he is fine with getting only a sixth of the total profit. (-All Rat Paws, +1 Silver Coin, +50 Copper Coins)

You head down to the market where you sell your pelts, choosing to keep the gargantuan one for now, and are told that the caravan from the mountainhomes will be arriving tomorrow. You all head to the tavern and have dinner and a round of drinks before heading to your respective homes. (+17 Copper Coins, -All Giant Rat Pelts)

You and Max arrive at the camp and make a small pile of leaves for Mavrick to sleep on, and after talking around the fire for a while go to sleep.

It is now morning, and Max is sitting by the in the camp. Mavrick seems hungry, what would you like to do?

At this age Mavrick has difficulty eating solid food, but you manage to get him to eat a few scraps. He still looks hungry however and you decide he needs milk. You leave him in the care of Max, who seems content to sit in camp for now.

You check the local market first and notice several wagons being unloaded with goods. After looking around you find a freelance alchemist selling rats milk, and buy yourself a quart of it alone with a baby bottle that you can use to feed him. (-15 Copper Coins, +Quart of Rat Milk, +Baby Bottle)

You see that the caravan is offloading many Dwarven goods, including weapons and armor. The armor, while a little thick and wide for your body, is still in your size and with a little leather padding on the inside you could make it fit you. While some of the weapons are human sized, many of them are made to the specifications of someone who is three feet tall. You learn that the caravan is next heading to the Elf lands.

A set of this armor is well out of your price range, however if you wanted a set of leather you could still get one from Mark's friend for 60 copper. You look at the weapons:
Steel Tipped Wooden Spear: 25 Copper Coins
Fully Steel Spear: 60 Copper Coins
Steel Spiked Mace with Wooden Handle: 45 Copper Coins
Steel Short Sword with Sheath: 40 Copper Coins

You buy the short sword and head over to Mark's friend. He measures your height and the width of various parts of your body, and makes you a custom set of armor exactly to your specifications. When you wear it, it feels comfortable and it is easy to move in, while still offering protection. (-1 Silver Coin, +Short Sword, +Armor Set)

You look for Chel at the Tinkerer's Guild but you find out it is her day off, and head back to camp. You feed Mavrick some milk and he curls into a ball and sleeps. You decide you're going to train him later, but for now Max says he wants to go retrieve his stash. He says you're carrying too much now and you won't be able to carry all his treasure.

He hands you a lock and key he “acquired” for the chest in your tent, before you go, what would you like to leave? (Chest is now locked, +Key)

Why would you bring the money at the point it's most likely to get lost, the whistle might help though for signaling help.

Well bring some money. Never know when you will run into an emergency and need money. And by keep the traps I simply ment don't give them to the vagabonds.
