Setting is an early WWII-ish era. Nations are run by Kings and managed by Lords. Monsters abound. Combat is typically WWI style trench warfare. Magic is existant, powered by magical staffs and weapons, and mostly by scrolls. Firearms are the typical weapons of war, though swords, spears, and older weapons are cheaper and more common, and often used by smaller, developing nations.
