I went ahead and got the Baldur's Gate boxset, and my LP itch happened to return once I fired up the character creator. So why not?
I will be asking you for which choices to make pretty much every time I get them. I might alter this if they're as common as several times in each conversation, though... this is a blind LP, so bear with me.

Ah, the intro screen. The best way to start of an LP... not much to do here though. How about we click that shiny "NEW GAME" button?

We get sent to character creation. This is where the awesome starts, people. I expect the best from you.

First, we choose the gender...

Then the race(ignore the magic douchebag to the right; I'll pick a good portrait once you've settled on gender and race).

The classes we get to choose are dependant on race. Only humans get to choose freely.
Now! Which gender, and more importantly, which race do we choose? HINT HINT: DWARF

Since I am too impatient to wait for a third vote, I'll have to flip a coin to decide which. Heads for gnome, tails for dwarf.

And the result is... tails! Female dwarf it is, then!

The only female dwarf portrait seems to have harlequin-style face paint. I guess I can live with that.

Next up is class. The available multiclasses are fighter-cleric and fighter-thief.

And then alignment. Note that lawful good is unavailable for thieves, and fighter-thieves can't have any lawful alignment.

Here's the stat roll screen. Tell me which stats you'd prefer, and I'll try to roll for good stats in those.
