Legalizing hemp documentary.

I found this tale quite interesting as I had already heard of and read some articles pertaining to the use of hemp before on the internet.

Note; the video is an hour long.

George Washington grew hemp as a cash crop for sail and ropemaking, two critical industries in the colonies. As usual, the film doesn't make any note of this and right from the get-go is dishonest with the viewer. As such I really cannot spare a full hour to watch something that lies to me in the first five seconds.

It does make note of this later in the vid.

Edit; Probably seemed like word vomit above.

I meant to say, how is the video being dishonest to the viewer.

If you can identify how, explain how and cite sources of information supporting your point of view.

I think he meant that the video suggests the the first quote (Washington:make the most of hempseed... sew it everywhere) is about the use of hemp for drugs. Which (probably(?))isn't true.

EDIT: The rest of the film is very boring though, care to give a tl;dr?

Not really, it's mostly about the story of one man who pretty much founded the hemp movement and wrote several books on it's uses whilst in jail for protesting to have it legalized.

The video hardly touches the plant as a narcotic except for some statistics later in the video about the death toll of cannabis compared to other drugs including alcohol and tobacco.

All I can say is that if you're immediately dismissing the video for any bias and then claiming it is _ then you could at least back this up with what you specifically thought was wrong and provide a valid argument (which is one with cited proof of any claims you make), a reasonable request imo.
