yay!!!

if elves are carving up small animal bones in the new release, there is even more to be exited about.... maybe there will even be elven woodworkers!!!!

any comments on the hilarity or awesomeness of elves that aren't pussies.

There is already the possibility for elves to be woodcrafters and even woodcutters.

In one of my worlds, there is a very large town populated by elves instead of humans, including elven woodcutters, woodcrafters, carpenters and all the other human jobs as well. They were absorbed into the human civilization during world gen which I assume is what happened to Toady's bonecarver. The only difference is that now they will be able to own woodcraft and carpentry shops.
