Hikari draws his sword, and stands up staring at the manhole the man had looked at as if he was scared of it. After a moment of thinking Hikari says "Try to get him to talk I have a bad feeling about this place, so do hurry it up I will make sure nothing is coming." and begins watching out for anything suspicious keeping a close eye on the manhole

Anyway, I think I might change my Demeanor to Caregiver since I don't think I can actually roleplay Curmudgeon very well.

It takes a several turns for him to cycle, you'll be standing there for a while if you just try and wait. You can follow him into the building though and watch, and maybe, just maybe help*.

*Tiny sliver of an XP filled chance.

Options,

Charisma+Empathy, Difficulty 6. Repeated success will gradually reduce difficulty levels, making it easier to talk to him each time. When the difficulty hits 2 there is no more need for rolling.

Charisma+Intimidate, Difficulty 4. Easy option, makes it harder to get information out of him any other way with repeated use. Affects quality of information adversely

Manipulate+Investigate, Difficulty 5. No penalties or bonuses for repeated use.

Manipulate+Subterfuge, Difficulty 3.  Easiest option, plays on his fears. Repeated success will degrade his sanity and ability to tell reality from his fantasy.

Manipulate+Leadership, Difficulty 8. Hardest Option, repeated success gradually builds confidence back in Ross making him more capable and more equipped to deal with the world of the dead.

You can set a default for dealing with Ross if you want as well as choosing what you want to use for your present action.

They're also the most difficult. I think I'll go with the most difficult and the most rewarding - Manipulate + Leadership. I think I have a high score in Leadership and I definitely have a high score in Manipulate.
