No problem, I understand.

Gao browsed through the offers and weighed them. Hmm... which is best for my career? That one has a high price on it but that probably means it's dangerous. I'll let it sit; better to get a smaller amount of renown and survive to enjoy it. Criminal warfare... intriguing. But I think I will hunt down this unknown alien. Discovering a new life-form is very noteworthy indeed, and even more so hunting and killing it. He sent a reply to the message, asking them to forward him all the details, then turned to the other side and started browsing for weapons. If he was going hunting, he wanted to make sure he was well-equipped.

971 mulled. A judge is supposed to uphold the law...he entertained the idea that it could be a trap, but if it was, the honey pot would have been sweeter, probably. His first reply was to Dalia-See you there commander and the second the unknown group of people Request further information. What's the nature of your organization?

Request further details on the Judge capture mission.
Then head down to the market, looking for some non-lethal capture weaponry.

Edit: Make sure to pick up my snaplock pistol before I go!

Shopping wish list
-Hand taser
-Beanbag rounds for widow maker
-Smoke/Flash grenades
-Handcuffs? (how else am I going to haul live captures...)
-Cellphone

Systar frowns as he ponders the list of missions.  The group mission was out- he figured there'd be a train of schmucks to dilute the bounty, and it'd be bad form to "accidentally" stab one or two in the back before he had made his reputation here on-planet.  The third mission, while packing a nice reward, was out- no sense going after the biggest target right after landfall.  That left the second and fourth.

Neither packed much detail, which was not to Systar's liking.  One was from a contact he knew, while the other came from a local.

"Well, probably best to work local at first- got to earn some local respect.  Just got to suit up and check it out."

Systar grabs some gear and heads out.

Head out to meet the contact at the bar for mission #4.  Take Thermal Blade, Aurora Revolver, Visor, and Beacon.

Answer the offer from the Bureau of Crimes against Humanity. It sounds like an illuminati plot to kill the human species. And since the illuminati were originally a human organization...

Indeed, I just came home fifteen minutes ago. I just need Toaster to change his action. I'll start writing everybody else's turns soon-ish anyhow.

EDIT: The Target Beacon immobilizes, so you don't need handcuffs. You just need to stun them with something and then get close enough to stick the thing in them. I admit there aren't many non-lethal weapons right now.

Taric Taiservi
Note the Republic's message, And head off to kill Cain, bringing the Carbine, frag grenades, first aid packs and the thermal blade.

[6] - Taric writes up a response, alongside his number for further details. A few gangers aren't going to be a problem to someone like him. [4] Taric grabs his RUS2 Carbine, and the four clips he has for it, [3] his three grenades and [4] four first-aid kits, plus the Thermal Blade. Finally, he straps on his Zuche 19 Visor, which immediately lights up the world, performing a quick scan of the room and pointing out all electronics and weapons, before sinking into a more thorough scan. He's more than ready for something as simple as this.

[6] Taric exits his run-down safehouse, shielding his eyes from the sunlight. The Industrial District is on the other side of town, and Taiservi has no intention of wasting time unnecessarily. He climbs on his bike and sets off towards the steelworks of Lower Industrial. [4] He's called while on the way. A high-pitched alien voice speaks and is translated with a short delay. Apparently, Cain tours the worker's tenements almost every day, shaking up those in his little protection racket or shooting anyone stupid enough to be in his way. If you can't take him out during his walks, he'll probably hole up in his lair somewhere in the area and you'll have to break in. Taric acknowledges this and steers the bike down, flashing past factory pipes and warehouses.

Taiservi lands near the eastern end of the worker's tenement area. The apartments - converted storage buildings - stand on an elevated platform stretching far into the distance. He could probably just walk straight forward until he stumbled upon Cain. There's also an easily-climbable wall up to a factory's catwalk, where Taric could wait for the ganger boss to arrive and then ambush him from above. Similarily to the first option, he could head down the stairs off the platform and walk straight forward until he'd spot Cain, then run back up behind him or flank him.

The area is still waking up, and there are only a few workers around outside their apartments.

Old Regime, I am at... khasharyn-khe... err, a disadvantage. I often slip into my own tongue out of habit. Apologies." Browse any Stealth Weaponry and Equipment the Black Market has.

[3] - 'Oh, we understand perfectly. Perfectly.' says the second salesman, a little too eagerly, his voice sounding strangely distorted behind his breathing apparatus. 'Just wait here for a moment, we'll be right back.'

Gazhorn tenses, expecting trouble, but the two men soon return with two heavy-looking crates. They crack them open, revealing a variety of equipment, some only remotely related to 'stealth'. Some of this stuff he already has, but it can't hurt to buy more. Using his experience, Akhain picks out the ones in best condition and asks about them.

Systar
Head out to meet the contact at the bar for mission #4.  Take Thermal Blade, Aurora Revolver, Visor, and Beacon.

[3] - Systar gathers his equipment. [1] He's only got one clip for his Revolver - he definitely should visit the markets sometime soon. He also takes the Thermal Blade and some other things. [3] The mercenary calls a cab and tells the driver the bar's location. After a while, they arrive at a nondescript bar by the river, in the shadows of the factories of the Industrial District.

[3] Systar walks in, unsure of who to look for. Nobody meets his eyes, and he goes over to the barkeep to order a drink, only to hear they don't have anything fit for humans. Goddamnit. Finally, someone detaches himself from his table and walks up to Systar. The fanged, long-necked alien pushes a dataslate into his hands and strides out, ignoring Systar's questions. He - or she - disappears into an alleyway before Systar can properly react. [5] Sighing, Systar sits down at an empty table and turns the dataslate on. Text appears on the screen.

Gaosaron
He sent a reply to the message, asking them to forward him all the details, then turned to the other side and started browsing for weapons. If he was going hunting, he wanted to make sure he was well-equipped.

[2] - Gao asks for more details from the factory workers, though nothing comes up straight away. [3] He opens up a window in the black market's program and starts looking through their list of current weapons. He already has most of this stuff, but he could buy ammo for them as well.

Subject 971
Request further details on the Judge capture mission.
Then head down to the market, looking for some non-lethal capture weaponry.

[2] - 971's request for further details comes back with a vague explanation that this judge lives somewhere in the Old District like you. You should be able to look him up easily enough in a public database. [6] 971 picks his most reliable contact and uses a secure connection to look through her wares after exchanging some small talk in a chat. Her agents will make a drop somewhere for 971 to collect if he decides to buy something. Unfortunately, there don't seem to be that much non-lethal equipment available. The contact assures 971 that she'll bring in new weapons as soon as possible.

Zara
"Damnit Alfred if you don't pick up next time I am going to hunt you down,a nd stab you to death. " said Zara as he checked the jobs he had avaliable to him.

[5] - Zara shouts curses at the silent phone for a while. Then, exhausted, he finally looks up what jobs are available to him. There are three offers he could take.

The first message is from the Bureau of Crimes Against Humanity. Looks like it's been sent to multiple people. The bounty is 50 000¤, to be split between those who survive. Further information will be given in a briefing later today.

The second was sent by someone called Damish yl Mocth. A quick search reveals he's the head of a notorious crime family. The job would involve sneaking into the old headquarters of the secret police, now defended by Republican guards, and wiping out the archives there. He doesn't care how it's done, or how many people you kill, as long as the database is purged clean of any information concerning him or his family. He's willing to pay 20 000¤.

The third sounds simple. It's from someone you know works for the Federation. One of their agents has gone missing, and they need someone to track her down and give her some package and instructions. They'll send someone to meet Zara with the package if he accepts the job. Payment is not mentioned.

Spoiler: adwarf (click to show/hide)

Achutugu-osha
Answer the offer from the Bureau of Crimes against Humanity. It sounds like an illuminati plot to kill the human species. And since the illuminati were originally a human organization...

[4] - Achutugu gets in his armoured aircar and heads over to the location specified. A few AA guns track her approach, but deactive after she transmits the proper codes. The Illuminati wouldn't just blow her out of the air anyhow. They wouldn't risk doing anything that'd attract too much attention.

[4] She joins a dozen or so other bounty hunters and mercenaries at the entrance of a large, rather impressive building that has something to do with justice and laws. There's not much to do before they open the doors. Maybe she could talk with the other hunters, try to root out the Illuminati spies in their midst.

Agh, I keep slipping into 'you' when I'm supposed to be writing in third person. I might just change it if I keep doing this. And jesus christ, this took long. It wasn't hard or frustrating to write, which usually leads to me ragequitting, but still took pretty long.

Toaster, fill your two remaining equipment slots. The visor and beacons don't take up any space.

"I suppose I'll just have to head there." Gao put on his visor. Since I'll have no idea what I'm hunting, I should prepare for all-range combat. He took the Widowmaker, the Mechanical Blade, the Target Beacon, and the Flare Gun - just in case the quarry could be sold alive. From the shop, he ordered the NTT Inferno and a pair of clips for it (8000+2400=10400. 20000-10400=9600 credits left) and arranged for them to be ready to be picked up on his way to the factory. Finally, he shut the console down and left to get his new purchases.

Dwarmin has a good idea about equipment so I'm ripping him off. :3

" If I can get in good relations with the crime rings of this world I would unlock massive networks of intelliegence specialists, new blackmarket dealers, and maybe even favors from the crime bosses themselves, so I am going to take that mission." said Zra as he grabbed his Visor, Cloaking Device, Beacon, Medkit, Golgo Blade, and the Widowmaker

Subject 971 decided to do some research on his target while waiting for the equipment drop. He orders three more rounds for his flare gun, and one of Zuche 13 Gravity Traps and submits the following order.

Quote
3xFlare Gun ammo= $1350
1xZuche 13 Gravity Trap=$2000

Current Funds=$5000
Total Expenditure=3350
Funds Remaining=$1650

971 didn't think this was going to be much of a problem, but he would feel safer knowing he had a little extra insurance. Now he needed to make sure he wasn't going to deliver the judge to some half-assed terrorist cell or crime family.

Action: While I wait for the weapon drop outside my apartment, research my target-I already know where he lives, need to know where he lives, so check out archived news reports. Any suspicious behavior? What's been happening in the cases he's been presiding over lately? What sort of place does he live in?

Pick up my snaplock pistol, Flare Gun and First aid Pack.

Spoiler: Stored equipment (click to show/hide)

OOC: I think it would be easier for me to keep track of stored stuff it like this.
