I think we're pretty much settled now if you want to advance time a bit. assuming you have everyone's orders of course.

Yes, I think diplomacy will pick up even more once the first little bit has been played. Looking forward to seeing the first update!

By the by, are these stock humans, or ones that can survive on the moon?

The one thing I dislike intensely about Aurora is that you cannot colonize things if they are beneath a magic number of gravitational attraction. There is no sudden cutoff where humans simply die from lack of gravity, we can live IN SPACE for long periods of time, in microgravity environments. The orbital habitats in the game are orbital... and people can live on them. Why does the moon NOT count but a big floating hab complex does?

I know, the hab is probably 'spun for gravity' which doesn't work nearly as well as depicted in science fiction, but dammit I want my moonbase and my lunar cities! I recommend we ask the mod to use SM mode to change the lower bound of acceptable gravity for the species so we can colonize anywhere.

It really isn't overpowered, because the colony cost still reflects the environment and how far the gravity/temp/atmosphere is from your human ideals so the moon would be expensive as shit to colonize... but you could do it!

I typically change humans to have a gravity tolerance of 0.85 G off standard (so, 0.15 G - 1.85 G). I do that so I can colonize the moon and some of the moons of the gas giants.

Well, even Astronauts have problems after too long on microgravity, and they're super-trained for that. If you want to colonize the moon, use orbital habitat. Or research a new specy. It'll be expensive as hell, but you can do it.

Nah, what I really want the GM to do is to mod Titan to have the same base temperature as the rest of the Saturnian moon. Right now it makes no sense and prevent total terraforming.

The game was designed with the ability to start multiple nations on a planet, many of steve's game logs are structured around that very idea

Could you tell me how this is done? ;)

Thanks alot! Error keeps cropping up, but I'll try and fix it. (And fail)

Can't wait to see this game get going! :D

Turn on Spacemaster mode,  go into the system view (looks like a stylized picture of the Sun on the system map view on the top button row), click the planet you want to add an empire to (has to be a nitrogen-oxygen planet) and click Create Empire near bottom-right area.

Wiki says Methane is valid too.

Yup, a species can either breathe oxygen or methane, but the other will be toxic for the species, and those are the only two breathable atmospheres.  Trust me, I tested breathability with all atmospheres.

Check for a PM from me. We've cluttered this thread enough with this talk.
