Maybe we should claim Titan? Anyway, it is only a stepping stone to a new capital away from the Sol system... It won't be long before nukes start falling...
I wonder if I could move my population entirely to orbital habs. Boy that would be expensive.

Titan can be terraformed. Would you like to team up for that?

Also, what conventional forces and weapons do we have on Earth?

I'm not making any commitments until we see exactly what we'll start with.

All of this will mean nothing if you don't get there first. >.>

Even getting there first is meaningless unless you can enforce your claim. Really you're all acting like we'll be at war from the second we start though. Sol system probably will have enough resources for us all to explore a bit and stake our claim outside of the system. Rather than blowing the shit out of each other over mercury (which may not even have minerals) we should cooperate a bit at first.

Personally, I think staying on Earth would be just fine, with a few colonies here and there... but I have a feeling like Earth will become a big radioactive crater when one player gets a little too trigger happy. Then it will be off to find New Britannia.

Yeah, but hopefully everybody will be deterred by MAD.

Actually, you know what? Screw that. I'm staying on Earth too. Knave, would you like to help me set up Meson PDC? They would offer some kind of protection against missiles, and would actually render ICBMs useless.

Do mesons work in atmosphere? Or is just lasers that mess up?

All energy weapons get their efficiency multiplied by (1-Athmospheric Pressure), so they don't work on Earth. All weapons, save for Mesons, who also bypass shields and armor. Mesons are awesome.

A meson PDC grid will protect Earth's Children for a brighter tomorrow!

Well, we shall start working on that as soon as we can.

Also, do we start with a shipyard? If yes, I'm announcing than in order to focus on Earth and speed up the building of the meson PDCs, I will sell my shipyard. Accepted currencies are industrial capacity and meson technology.

Space Incorporated will take you up on that offer. We will contact you to negotiate the details once the game starts and we all know exactly what we have.

Still need emails from some of you. PM them to me so we can get started. Also, typing up a response to questions asked earlier in the thread.
