The problem with quantity over quality is that one well placed Area of Effect attack can easily eradicate entire armies of weak units. Guess what the zerg are known for. And guess who doesn't mind fighting dirty.

Pfft I was more of a fan of the fantasy warhammer.  I actually had a set or whatever they were called too.   Some battle of high elves vs goblins...  I had them all nicely painted and everything. *Nostalgic look* And then they all got scattered to the four winds and never saw them except for the odd one or two individual pieces in a junk drawer again.

As for the fight.  Nah, I wouldn't stand a chance.  You have guns and an army.  I have a sword and a small adventuring party of 6.

Anyhow, I'd say we'd be more even were it not for your compatriots. I suppose the only allies I'd have would be THE FASTEST REPORTER EVER!

Have you ever seen Arcani?
Last battle, I sen't one unit against the entire army.
They were quickly surrounded, and a wave of Militia charged.
I looked at them, and there card said that Victory was certain.
Scores of Carthage's men died.
Every charge killed at most 2 Arcani. When they finally fell, there was at least 300 dead Carthaginians per dead Arcani.
There was a true field of dead enemies. Hundreds of Carthaginian men fell, More then 1 units share of cav fell, and they even ended up sending in there Missile units after they ran out of arrows.
My avatar is an army of 5 Merc Hoplites, 5 Urban Cohorts, 5 Arcani, and 5 Praetorian Cavalry.

2000 years later, spears and arrows have become very primitive and we use these little metal toys called guns, which we load metal projectiles called bullets into them and we pull this little mechinism, and there you have it, a shiton of dead enemies.
