Ok turn completed, and I would also like to note that this RTD is unique in part by the fact that battles can range from 7 - 100 units maybe even more, so once you get into the large scale battles that are part of the game later on turns could take two, or three days just so you know.

Fall in line with the militia pilots, send a radio message back. "Yeah, we're here to help." Find some cover around a chokepoint, get behind it.

Move in front of the less heavily armoured ARMs, while still finding a defensive perrimeter if possible

Turn 1 - Siege of Icarus Prime

Attempt to find some type of chokepoint or defensible position
[4] You move your ARM into position behind a building directly east of the entrance, adn you allies also take up position around the tunnel forming a nice formation that allows for support fire from almost every direction.

Equip the heavy launcher and find some cover
[5] You quickly put up your vurrent weapon, and pull out the Heavy Launcher as you take up position on top of a building to the west of the tunnel entrnace.

Find ambush point where the launchers can do some damage
[6] You spot a walkway above the tunnel carved into the rocks, and it seems to ahev been made for ARMs [4] you boost the energy output to your legs, adn successfully jump up into position overlooking the road where your enemies would come out at. (-5 Power)

Fall in line with the militia pilots, send a radio message back. "Yeah, we're here to help." Find some cover around a chokepoint, get behind it.
[6] You place your ARM's back to the central building directly infront of the tunnel, and open up a channel to tell the militia pilots that you are there to help.

Move in front of the less heavily armoured ARMs, while still finding a defensive perrimeter if possible
[3] You get infront of the rest of the lesser armored ARMs, but [4] the only cover out here is two four story buildings, and an trailer you might be able to use as a shield if you got in a pinch. You take up position on the western building, and wait for the enemy.

Check that all my allies are safe, boost power to my ARMs arms (lol) so that the already-devastating melee will be more dangerous, and wait for the enemies to come.

Aim for the tunnel entrance so that I can take out as many of the enemy as possible when they arrive.

Decide most probably route for enemies to come and wait to ambush.

Also I forgot to mention if you run out of energy you will not be able to move the ARM you can still fight using Conveintional Weapons, but there is no chance for you to dodge an attack, or use an energy weapon.
