Since I suck at this game, I did an uppercut that punched off the other person's head in freeplay mode, but then my person tripped over the other guy's foot because he was as stiff as a statue, leaning and in an awkward position.

I am too incompetent at this game to even think about playing.

The only thing I can do is tie because I can't move for squat.

I once tried to decapitate Uke by repeatedly slamming his head against my knees.
I ended up dismembering him before finally decapitating him.

Wow. It's been forever since I touched this. I used to not be good at all, but on a whim I played multiplayer. I watched other people, kept losing, and then slowly started to win. I met a guy who took me in and taught me his secrets. It was like those movies where the mentor trains you until you defeat him, except that I defeated mine by kicking him into five different pieces. That's when he said I was ready 8)

I think you're better off going to the beginner room :P

yeah, fricking AI knows kung fu >_<

I went to a beginer room. Won my first fight by standing still and my opponent fell to the floor and lose xD
Second fight, I fell to the floor :(

I almost fell on the floor laughing.

I've played Toribash for like 2 years now, though I don't play it much anymore. I was rank 52 at one time. I'm not really good at it anymore, but one time on an official server, I beat a mod in a fight and he gave me Radioactive Relax, so that's something.

I have been using the same starter for twinswords as I used in the Bay12 game. Not a single loss thus far. Heres a demonstration of that fact.

Wow I am surprised that people actually use tactics.
After getting my ass handed on the beginner levels by using predefined moves I started randomly clicking(or randomly kicking). But I totally lost my faith in tactics when I fucked everyone(5 win streak) in the black belt. The only reason I lost was because in my random clicking I managed to rip my leg off(don't ask how)

I would seriously recommend losing the holdall as soon as possible.
It will get you yelled at in most rooms.
Some of them will even kick you.

Holding is only used when you need to...  hold a position.  If you're holding most of your joints for more than a couple turns, you are doing it WRONG.
I suppose it doesn't help that everybody teaches newbies (myself included on both sides at some point in time) to holdall to learn the game...
EDIT: For example, this starts with a hold and ends with a hold, but is not holdall.
The mod from both Cerapa's and my own replay, for anybody else who doesn't have it

The starter itself isnt holdall. But it goes into holdall in the end. The best I can do is flap around like a fish when I arent holding a lot.
