Are we ready? I guess were ready.

A large bang is heard as the transport pod disconnects from the Imperial Destroyer. The pod has 16 soldiers inside, as per standard squad fill out. A red light flashes near the door to the pilots seat.
Outside, thousands of similar transports disconnect and join your way down to the planet.

Five hours later, the flashing light turns yellow, signalling that they would be approching orbit soon. Weapon holders come out next to every soldier, and each takes their weapon. The pod begins to shake as small transpartent visors come down upon each soldier. The visors turn on, showing you your objective, which are to "Secure the Drop area for Reinforcements". Vague, but thats how they normally are. How we managed to conquer large masses of land on three planets is hazy as well.

A few hours later, a small flash is seen on the ground. Moments later, the transport next to yours explodes into a fury of flames. Evasive action is taken as more of the blasts take more ships.

After another few hours of heartstopping fear, the pilot finds a patch of land that is suitable for landing, and drops down to it. The area you drop on seems to be a small landing pad next to what seems to be an abandoned station. If not abandoned from before, then certainly abandoned after the orbital bombardments.

The door opens and you all walk out. You seem to be in the middle of a large city of sorts. Other transport that survived the anti-air fire are also landing, some near your postition.

Oh, and its really fricken cold.

What do you all do?

Take cover infront of the door, preparing to shoot anything on the other side.

((I assume we're advancing towards the station.))

Run fast and low to the left side of the station door. Crouch next to it with SMG at the ready. Open helmet comm.

"I'm in position."

I get into position, on right side of the station door, with my SMG ready.
 "Nikolas in position."

The small squad of 16 soldiers move to the near by door to the Station. Two soldiers each take position at both sides of the door, while a number of other soldiers take cover at surrounding pecies of scrap. One unlucky CQC soldier is choosen to open the door.

He takes out his shotgun, and slowly prods the door open with it. The room is too dark to see in effectively, so the CQC Soldier turns on his headlight. He is last heard uttering "Son of a Bit-" before getting ripped to peices by heavy machine gun fire. The sudden bloody mass of gore shocks the men nearby the door.

Lean back from the door and the impeding explosion, taking a deep breathe with eyes closed to attempt to still mind.

"Hope those wankers like shrapnel in their asses."

Point the SMG inside and shoot short burst randomly, before taking cover.

Stay back, do not rush in.  If you have to, use your squadmates for cover.  Shoot at any enemy you see go through the door.
