Here are two variants of job regrouping.
First, based on production sequences, I tried to band all related jobs together. Each group has some jobs without a related quality modifier, and most groups have some jobs with related quality modifiers (some of them moodable). This results in 9 job groups total (compared to current 13).
WOODWORKING (everything related to wood): Wood Cutting, Carpentry, Crossbow Making, Woodcrafting, Siege Engineering
STONEWORKING (everything related to stone and mining): Mining, Masonry, Strand Extraction, Stone Detailing, Architect, Mechanic, Stonecrafting, Gem Cutting, Gem Setting
ANIMAL RELATED (everything related to large animals): Animal Training, Animal Care, Hunting, Butchery, Tanning, Cheese Making, Milking, Shearing, Spinning, Leatherworking, Bone Carving
SMALL ANIMAL RELATED (everything related to small animals): Fishing, Fish Cleaning, Fish Dissection, Trapping, Small Animal Dissection, Pressing, Bee Keeping, Wax Working
FARMING LABOURS (everything related to plants): Milling, Plant Processing, Plant Gathering, Farming, Brewing, Cooking, Dyeing, Weaving, Clothesmaking
FIRE RELATED (everything that implies fire or ash): Wood Burning, Potash Making, Lye Making, Soap Making, Furnace Operating, Weaponsmithing, Armoring, Blacksmithing, Metalcrafting, Glassmaking, Pottery, Glazing
MEDICAL JOBS (medical skills): Diagnosis, Surgery, Setting Bones, Suturing, Dressing Wounds
MISCELLANEOUS LABOURS (jobs with no resulting products): Siege Operating, Pump Operating, Feed Patients/Prisoners, Recovering Wounded, Burial, Cleaning
HAULING LABOURS: Stone Hauling, Wood Hauling, Item Hauling, Food Hauling, Furniture Hauling, Animal Hauling, Refuse Hauling
Second variant, instead of grouping related jobs, I banded all moodable jobs together into one big group (split into three subgroups for easier reference), and proceeded from there. Major advantage is that all moodable skills are placed together. The resulting set includes 11 job groups:
RESOURCE COLLECTION (jobs that require weapon tools): Wood Cutting, Mining
PROCESSING LABOURS (non-moodable non-quality productive jobs): Wood Burning, Potash Making, Lye Making, Furnace Operating, Strand Extraction, Soap Making
PRODUCTION JOBS (moodable productive jobs - first group): Carpentry, Siege Engineering, Masonry, Architect, Stone Detailing, Mechanic, Glassmaking, Pottery, Glazing
CRAFTING JOBS (moodable productive jobs - second group): Crossbow Making, Woodcrafting, Stonecrafting, Gem Cutting, Gem Setting, Leatherworking, Bone Carving, Wax Working, Dyeing, Weaving, Clothesmaking
SMITHING JOBS (moodable productive jobs - third group): Weaponsmithing, Armoring, Blacksmithing, Metalcrafting
