Making adamantine furniture
« on: November 10, 2007, 01:35:00 am »

If you position some adamantine ore next to a mason's workshop, the mason may grab it instead of regular stone (there's no way to label it economic stone).  He can make furniture out of adamantine that way.

This is likely an artifact of raw adamantine being classed as 'other stone', or more colloquially normal stone (as opposed to economic and precious).  I'm pretty sure it's intended that adamantine be normally usable for any kind of construction, but being able to keep it out of the hands of masons for use in mundane jobs is a reasonable desire.  However, I'm not sure how the game could be reasonably changed to accomdate this or even if it's right to really say it does need to be changed.  A very simple and probably plenty good enough workaround is to make custom stone stockpiles that forbid adamantium near your masonry workshops, and another stone pile that only accepts adamantium closer to the places you intend to use it.
