Hey, question.
Any way to destroy say, a wall, and get the resource back?

No. You will need to right click/delete and die in process if you want to destroy a lot  :). They really needs to implement a destroy command for your townies.

I need to find out how to bake, last time I tried it just outright didn't work.

I am surprised that a game that has been so long in development still has so many problems, but wacha gonna do?

How do you get baking to work?

I don't play Towns. Here is a wiki link to Baking though. 3x3 room, baker's table, baker's oven. Seems pretty simple.

If you have the last version, you will need wheat, mill,  baker's table and baker's Oven.

In left menu you will need to set minimum number of wheat and flour to be produced. After that you set min number of  bread/pies, and it should work for you now.

That wiki is not up to date 100%.

In all honesty...I find myself raging at the towns people who decides to go prioritize taking a goblinite from the bottom of the dungeon instead of the ones that are stored right next to the ITE smithy which causes a cascade of everyone running down one by one to where they died to retrieve the body...that idea of limits of how far down they can haul/equip from is good, but it also needs to apply to crafting things as the floor wasn't even remotely secure when I lost 10 townies.

Reminds me of DF back in the day.
with the exception of grabbing the nearest item? but its still bad since the burning sock incident was very well known and...its an old joke about a series of bugs that should have been avoided...and really...the ai is horrible in general...hero joins the town, goes into the dungeon, kills one mob, starts to attack a second, runs away with low health, goes to room, sits there for 5 seconds then goes back into the dungeon to die in a single hit being below 15% hp...not to mention townies have no retreat condition unless you get lucky and they decide either eating or sleeping would be better then to fight...oh well, was simply giving the game another shot since i saw updates happen and well...I guess I delete it being disappointed...oh well figured I'd at least try to give my input as to why I was disappointed.

I've seen craftsmen ignore the level hauling restrictions, but when I had everything under -4 forbidden no one would go claim corpses on -6?

Also... Since you can place storage items (barrels, ITE chests, etc) and they're 10X more efficient than stockpiles... why use stockpiles?

And then, they will be weaponized. Like everything in this game, from kittens to babies, everything is a potential device of murder.
So if baseless speculation is all we have, we might as well treat it like fact.

Is the game dead? For few months there were no updates at all, and how it looks there is little developer activity on their forum.

You are the developer? Nice.
