Watching everyone on Greenlight claim this is a minecraft clone is both amusing and kinda said.

Hello,

yes, Desura doesn't have a Mac client but you can download the standalone file (a zipped file) with the game. Unzip it and play.
Here a video of how to do it:

I got around to try the download and it works. The icon kinda sucks but I bundled the app and changed it because I'm just that nerd:

I have a suggestion.

When you mine underground, the block underneat where you mined gets revealed (obviously, since it's the floor), but also the block above it (being the ceiling, I assume). However, exploring the Dungeons doesn't reveal the above block at all. This doesn't make sense specially if you end up mining the whole level, you'll only see the blocks where you mined, but not the ones that were already empty.

Make it so that when you explore the tunnels and dungeons, you also reveal the ceiling block.

It is a well deserved and long overdue reward for a great development team!

Congrats!

If you keep up us to date on the "post-greenlight" process I promise I'll buy the game a second time.

Have they contacted you? What is the next step? Any idea how many thumps ups it took?

No need to buy a second time, i'll happily share what i can.

We found out on twitter, from a guy who found out on the greenlight news page.

But they did e-mail us shortly before. (we just didn't notice it)

Next step - for us? keep working on it until we feel its ready then we contact them and get it ready to publish
Next step - for other, finished games? i think they just want to publish it on steam asap (valve that is).

We had a rate of %17, probably nearing the %18. last time we had access to that data, our thumb up/thumb down rate was somewhere around 90/10. we never had the actual number of up votes though, but we speculate it was very high since our favourites count was lower than other games with lower ratings.

Oh, btw, apparently, the first thing you do is sign an NDA, so i wont be able to update further in.

Salutations and congratulations! Now that Towns will be on Steam, I think it will get more sales than on other game sites, simply because people trust/love Steam so much.
I, for one, plan on buying it.

I will be buying an additional copy now for sure! I hope the influx of cash will allow for faster development going forward and hopefully bankroll your next project.

I don't know if I really like or really hate this game, it's so frustrating at times (especially when I clash against the UI) but I keep going back to it.

0.47 was in my top 3 favorite games of the last 5 years! Sadly, I cannot play .50 due to a bunch of issues that have all been beat to death on their official forums. I see it as growing pains and I know that the next iterations will certainly return it to the glory it previously had.

I just saw this on a news site I frequent:

http://arstechnica.com/gaming/2012/09/half-life-mod-black-mesa-among-first-wave-of-greenlit-steam-games/

Congrats on getting the green light for Steam! (It's at the bottom, where it shows a list of the first ten games that will be added by Steam's indie program.)
