I'm horrible but might participate. Although I have finals all the way through to the 23rd, so I'll only be able to jump in if its after that.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm European.

Alright, I'm adding you Deadmeat. I might be busy playing the Battlefield 3 beta tonight though. I'll post here if I change my mind.

Finally getting to play some refreshers against AI... oh and I'm Bluerobin character code 109 for anyone who wanted to add me.

The moment the lever was pulled, somebody's pet kitten stepped onto the bridge. I read somewhere that if a cat falls more than 11 stories, it instinctively flares its legs out to increase air resistance. This slows it down enough to stick the landing with relatively minor injuries. In Dwarf Fortress, apparently, cats don't do that.

Well It looks like we wont have any more players, so lets take this for the provisional table ready for the 21st.

On Monday I'll get the competitors to set a mutually acceptable time to play, whenever that is best for them!

We will have 5 games per bracket, if anyone thinks this is too many, with consent of both players it can be reduced to 3 gamesper bracket, or 1 if absolutely necessary.
1st bracket = 1 game knockout
2nd bracket = best of 3
Final = best of 5

Don't worry if youre busy this week, whenever you can find to play a game or two is fine. The 21st is the start of the tournament in general, not a deadline to begin actual games.

Instead of casting the games that I play, I could do FPVOD style. Live commentary. Good idea? Since if I played the game, I'd know how it went. And that would spoilarz.

Speaking of, DON'T LET ME KNOW HOW YOUR GAMES GO! I need to not know, because if I'm as clueless in my cast as everybody else is watching, it really makes it more entertaining to watch. If you win your game, just PM Deadmeat with the results and replay. Then he can send the replays to me, so I don't know who won.

It may seem a little long-winded and unnessecary, but damnit I like creating pointless work!

Semi Ninja Edit: Personally, I think it could go Best of 1 for first round, Bo3 for second and bo5 for finals. Since it creates higher tension. And less casting work for me :D

Sure, I'll make a rule: Don't announce your victory or defeat! It will result in a DQ from that match!

I will give all replays to Fluffy for casting, and Fluffy can announce the results via his videos!

Also, Like the game length idea.

First bracket is a 1 game knockout.

Second is 3.

Final is 5 games.

The latter two wont necessarily have to be played all at once.

Squeee, my ideas were made official! :3

I do actually have some experience in tournaments. I was a tournament admin for iCCup for about half a year back in the day. If you don't know what iCCup is, it's the biggest unofficial original StarCraft/Brood War server. Managing a 64 player tournament is bloody hard.

Yeah it did seem like you had some sort of experience  :P I'm just a fairly regular watcher of SC2 games.
