Dwarven Saints.

In the history of the game, many epic characters have arised from the random ☺'s and ☻'s of civilization.  However, the more stable DF becomes, the less likely such epicness is to arise; for instance, there will never be another Morul because attribute gains are now capped.  And if ever new heros do arise, then the old ones will be forgotten.  It's already begun, half the people here have never even heard of Urist as anything but a random name!

Well, they shall be forgotten no longer.  It is time to Canonize a few old legends, sadly without a magma cannon...  I'll start the list, but I haven't played long enough to make sure I've gotten everyone included, so tell me if I forget anything.  Also, feel free to propose new dorfs (or other creatures) for canonization, but  be aware that it won't make the cut unless a lot of people agree with it and there are few objectors.

You should provide some links. I didn't know Urist was anything other than foobar of DF. (In UNIX, you often explain things using foo and bar as placeholder names, like 'cp foo bar'). I doubt a forum or wiki search for Urist would be any good, that is why I ask for links.

Just what we need. More stupid in-jokes that try too hard to be funny, but ultimately fail. I do believe that is what the Wiki is there for. There is a whole categories for stories, I believe.
