there isnt a single real world plant in game besides the trees. why this one in particular?

Not to mention that a lot of the other plants are simply renamed real plants.

For example Longland Grass is essentially Wheat.

no, can not me understand this. also, this plant doesn't eat bugs or birds or anything, it emits a foul odor to attract pollinating insects

Aww, I just assumed it was carnivorous. Either way, it needs to be in the game whether you understand it or not. I'm sure Toady understands.
