I'd like to sign up for a turn, it seems that you have a dearth of players, and I'm here to step in and fill the gap! (and get my bass beaten down by this... chaotic fortress.

Just bumping to try and ask for more people to join. Also I want to ask: when if s]when[/s] if when the fort inevitably crumbles in some freak carp-related accident, should we continue with a reclaim or let it die?

Come on boy, I spent the last half of my turn battling an unstoppable horde of ultraviolent crazies. You get to spend the first half of yours ignoring them to death.

Also, I may have forgotten to designate some chains 'n cages for justice. Some of which (cages) may be clogged with the bodyparts of those who died in its name. Think you could check up on that?

I'm a little worried considering Draxis hasn't said a thing yet. But he still has until the 21st to finish his turn before his turn ends. In any case, at least I've learned a few things about setting up these things.

I just love my arena, even if the gladiators weren't up to scratch. :P
It was just hilarious, watching all of them get slaughtered while that one guy ran back and forth like a headless chicken, pissing himself and looking for a way out. :D

I have just contacted Draxis since his week has ended. If he doesn't respond within 24 hours, I'm just going to outright skip him. I'm starting to think I should change the time limit to something like ten days, but I still believe that a week is ample time for a fortress year.

This is, what, the third time he's done this? Shoulda seen it coming...

Anyway, here's the file again, for your convenience. I gave it a bit of cleaning up, since I had the time to do so.

Auride traders are still waiting to be traded with, memorial hall needs to be set up as a room, Ikidarsha's tomb, blah blah etc. I never did see any encar, which makes me sad in retrospect.

Soory, I really had no time this week, plus computer problems.  I got less than one season done.  :(
Seven days is enough, just not those seven days.

Anyway:

Actually the fortress is doing quite nicely. I'll upload the save as soon as I get the activation thing from dffd,

Pretty good run actually, dunno why I never thought of putting a farm next to the reservoir. But that digger (Bomrek the fishery worker) is still trapped, and close to death D:
And a large portion of the chains in my jail are either undesignated for justice, or missing completely.

A few other recommendations for the next ruler. Take Kumil Astodam off of pump operating duties and put someone less useful in his place, it's getting in the way of justice. Let Tobul Blockadetreaties out of the dungeon ( burrow 8 ), she's actually a pretty cool guy. Put a Meeting Hall zone in the first floor dining room; everyone's crowding into that tiny arena viewroom for some reason. Put those memorial slabs somewhere.

In his defence at least this time he actually showed some signs of life. Still, I've notified Cousen. He will be playing the rest of Draxis' year and (hopefully) his year as well. Anyway, the more players we can get in this game, the better.

Downloading...and done and loaded.

Got my work cut out of me here.   Allot of unhappy dwarfs, not sure why.  Stockpiles- definitely needs allot of micromanagement.  Workshops – what’s happing here? All of them stacked together.  Think I will dedicate draxis turn to creating some order.   Then with my luck just fend of sieges, or elsewise start expanding the fort.
At least there is plenty of food.
