My friends found a tiny ginger kitten in a raspberry bush in their garden. has about 4 extra "fingers" and has been miss sexed 3 times but is very cute.
Pics?

I can cross one eye. I'm currently attemting to teach myself how to look in two different directions, i.e. left w/ left eye & right w/ right eye. I've made more progress than I originally thought I would. Maybe that's why my eyes are so screwed up and weak...
I knew someone that could do that too. Yeah, it's probably messing up your vision if you do it all the time.

Sheber Kalaykalayder! Your skills as a trader are terrible!

Well actually the fucking merchants wanted upwards of a 100☼ profit on the trade! Ridiculous! If it wouldn't cause a loyalty cascade, I'd have killed them.

Cobalds are ridiculously complicated to start a fort with. Their leader, the regic, is the only noble that makes mandates (but all nobles work), but is also there form the start. It can become very dangerous as cobalds also have a notoriously short temper when made nobles and within minutes of election (which occurs every season or something like that...) the will become unhappy, or worse.

I need to fix this.
Luckily it's the Keeper that is responsible for trade, bookkeeping, and management.

Yeah, but it's fun. Plus I finally got my hands on another copy of Portal 2 (thank you gamefly!) so I beat it yesterday.

I'm assuming that they're bald, yes? Maybe that's why they hate life so much?

Well, no. Unlike vanilla kobolds which are actually bald, they have fur. they're more like no-balds. noble, not-bald kobolds who are able to speak.

I named one of the migrants Leetsepeak. her orignal name was Leet, which reminded me of a particular individual whose username was Leetspeak (L33t53p34k or whatever...) who I dislike. I'm stuffing her in with the new miner Conan to see if they'll marry and produce, as this is likely the last of the Cobald race... and dwarven for that matter, but I don't feel as much pity for them because they're tougher and will survive their civ being dead a few more decades.

I have no idea what this thread is about, but since the title is fitting and it's in the right forum I'll just leave this here:

Spoiler (click to show/hide)
What you can see on the left is my fortress entrance, refuse stockpile and recent battlefield. On the right is a dead troll on the wall (killed right there by my marksdwarves). There have never been any ramps or stairs at this wall, so how did the troll get up there?

so dwarves that die of old age in DF dont get shriveled and weak, but huge round masses of meat and fat that explode spectacularly upon their final birthday?

@Gorm
it's a feature, creatures can dodge up z levels when they are attacked.

Maybe the same thing that somestimes happens to dwarfs happeneed here?.

Dwarfs sometimes end up on pillars, collums and stuff without any way they could ever gotten up there in the first place. (And you usually only notice when they starved.)

Good to know. Too bad for the troll, he never found out how to get down again. Should have dodged those crossbow bolts I guess (but not into the 50 z-level dump chute in the middle).

On the other hand he should not have had to dodge in the first place, as the battle took place in the caverns when he got up there.
