Actually, I was sort of hoping to generate energy in a...different sort of way. It's still heat energy, in a manner of speaking, but it actually may create life, if you know what I mean...

That didn't last long, huh? Shame, cause binary's cool. Anyway, an important message: I will be changing my names on every username based thing I use to ASCIt on/around 10/1. Consolidating, I guess you could say.

If dwarves decided to live in trees like hippies, they'd still do it better than the elves.

For sale:
Ticket to fly on first-ever FTL ship. Owner was... unhappy with the engineering.

I just learned something weird.
I knew Plump Helmets were giant mushrooms, but I was told they were as big as TVs.

What sort of TVs? Small guard-post TVs or 60 inch plasma screens or what have you.

I didn't know, spikes made of cave spider silk were menacing, especially on a toy boat.
Also why are there always menacing spikes?

I suppose, I assume we're using elves as fuel? Breed them and simply burn them?

Do you even know how an Alcubierre drive works?

They'd be the exotic matter with negative mass. Seriously, go look alcubierre drives on wikipedia.

You know what? Even with the exotic material used, the insane amount of potential energy needed, the quantum engineering and automated systems required to keep everything running, I'm still putting in steam furnaces run on elves...

Yah, but not Bagel-powered Vampire Elves. They burn horribly, so they make an awfully poor fuel. You'd want Donut-powerd Stalker-Ghost Elves or Fusion-powered Zombie Elves for fuel for the furnaces. :P

The fusion-powered Zombie Elves are going to be kept and grown for the terraforming project later on.

But what about probes? We need probes to see what a planet's like, first.

Hmm... Antimatter-powered Kobold Mummies? For A-pKM probes?

Oh no, nothing so complex. We simply dump seven dworfs out of an airlock and see if they survive the impact. From there we study, modify the plan and keep trying. Eventually we get the right dwarfs and the right stuff together and BAM instant drop crew ready to set up forts all over the joint.

And to begin converting it into another BH-pFD/WH-pVE ship...

We are the Dworfs. Existence, as you know it, is over. We will add your geological and mechanical distinctiveness to our own. Resistance is futile.
