Hey, just generated a world and I'm playing as goblins. At the embark screen it showed the other races to be in a conflict (like the goblins are when you're not at war with them), and the goblins had a "No Trade" sign by them.

In the equipment screen all I could bring was food, no drink. The only animals available were trolls, and these goblins work but have no access to nobles or military.

I did no raw modding aside from removal of aquifers.

So my only question is: What the hell?

Goblins are carnivores, they don't farm and they don't brew anything. They also don't have a complicated noble system such as the dwarf one. It is normal. And without militia commanders and captains, no military.

You will need to mod the game moar if you want playable and enjoyable goblins. Notably make noble positions.

Also you normally can buy ogres for 1 dwarfbuck gobbuck as well ? Gobbos don't use normal dwarf/human livestock.

If you did no intentional raw modding, an Accident must have occurred.

The obvious solution would be to download a fresh version of the game. That's if you want to fix it.

Sounds like a little fun.

The closest I ever got to something like this was when I duped some raws and embarked as gremlins. They wear fire snake clothing - which apparently still bursts into flames - so that didn't last too long.

No, they walked into Bara-door.  Fell all over Floordor.  Minas Uncle laghed himself to death.

That reminds me, I have to work the word dwarves into the dictionary, I need it to be Khazad I can then combine this with the already existing word, "doom".
